Chapter 1

Lily above^^^

My name is Lily Ocean Rose. I'm sixteen and I live in England with my adoptive parents Sarah Rose and Nick Rose, and my adoptive brother Axel Rose who is 16 as well. My adoptive father hates his last name but I think it's beautiful. I call them my mom, dad, brother because know blood doesn't make family.
Today is Monday which means school. I don't mind going unlike my brother. I'm a straight A student and the best in my classes. My brother not so much.
"Wake up Lily time for school." My mom yells from downstairs.
"Coming mom." I yell back
I get out bed and start going down the hallway when my brother comes out of his room and starts to run downstairs.
"There's bacon downstairs, race you." He says.
I run down the stairs after him and jump on his back.
"No fair you got a head start." I tell him.
"Lily, Axel stop messing around. Get over here and eat." Mom says setting food on the table.
"Sorry mom." I say as I get off Axel's back and head for the table.
I take a seat next to Axel and across from where dad is going to sit. Mom grabs orange juice and dad grabs four cups and they sit down. Dad hands us a cup and mom fills them with orange juice. I grab a plate and fill it with a pancake, two peices of bacon, and a little bit of eggs. I eat them pretty quickly and wash my plate and cup. I head back up to my room and take a quick shower and get dressed. I put on light blue high wasted skinny jeans and grey t-shirt. I dry my hair and leave it their natural curls.
I get in my car and wait for my brother to get in the car and I drive us to school.
"See you later after my fight lesson. Here's the keys." I tell Axel and hand him the keys to my car, I usually just walk.
"Ok see you later sis." Axel replies with.
I head for my friends as he heads to his. But I'm stoped midway by Victoria and her friends.
"What are you even doing here?" Victoria says.
"I'm here for school just like everyone else, Victoria." I snap back.
"Nobody likes and nobody ever will." She says angrily.
I see Asher Valentino the hotest guy at school who I catch staring at me here and there, while standing next to my brother, starts walking our way.
"Hey Lily." Asher says.
"Hey Asher." Victoria says in a flirty tone will batting her eyelashes at him.
"I'm sorry Victoria I was talking to Lily not you." Asher says to Victoria with a smile on his face.
Victoria looks at me then back at Asher, and stomps away angrily.
I look at Asher and start burst out laughing and he does the same.
"Thanks for the save." I tell him.
"Anytime Lily." He says flashing a smile.
The bell rings and I tell Asher bye and run to my friends they all laugh at me.
"Shut up." I tell them all.
"Come lets get to class." My best friend Seren says as we all take of running to our class.
English goes by quickly and the bell soon rings again we all leave the class room. I turn to go to my locker when I see my other best friend Jace. I smile widely and take off running torwards him. I jump on him almost knocking him and me down.
"I missed you how was America?" I ask him.
"It was great. The Statue of Liberty was amazing."
"Your, sooooo lucky. Tell me all about it."
Jace tells me all about his trip as we walk to my locker. I grab my stuff for my next two class and head my classes with Jace with me. I sit through two hours of my teacher talking before the bell rings and it's lunch time. Me and Jace walk to the lunch room we head to the table with all our friends. We laugh and till the bell rings.
"Love you guys talk to you later." I yell as I head to class.
They yell love you too as they head to their classes. Time flies by and it's finally time to head to my fight lesson . Nobody in my family knows but I'm  actually a teacher at fighting classes. Most of the days I'm teaching not learning. I am advanced and a better fighter than everyone at lessons. I am even better than my teacher. Today I'm teaching which only takes about forty-five minutes. I get to the fighting classes and walk in. I'm greeted by my teacher,"Hey Lily how was your day?" Mr. Gold ask me.
"Great and yours?"
"Good. The kids are waiting in the room. Fourty-five minutes today then your free to go." He gives me a smile.

"Bye Mr.Gold have a good day." I say as I leave the fighting classes.
"You too Lily."
I start to walk down an ally when I hear noises behind me. I turn around and see two musculer guys. I turn back around and see two more muscular men.
"Are you kidding me." I whisper to myself.
The ones behind me come closer. I hit the one on the left in the troat and kick him back. The one on the right tries to punch me. I dodge and punch him in his gut, and kick him where the sun doesn't shine,and punch him in the face. I turn around the other men are now running torward me. I sweep the closest ones feet out from under him and punch him in the face. The last one punches me in the stomach before I can dodge and has a scared exspression on his face as if asking himself what did he just do. I finally use all my strength and round house kick him in the temple straight knocking him out. I look around and see four very muscular, very knocked out men laying on the ground. I lift my shirt up and touch the spot where the man punched me. I wince a little from the pain. It's definitely is going to bruise tomorrow. I turn around about to punch somebody when I see a very shocked yet amused Asher.
"What never seen a girl kick a guys a** let alone four." I say with a smile.
"That was sexy." He says with a smirk.
"Why, thank you." I said taking a bow and he chuckles. "What are you doing here?"
"I wanted to ask you on a date and your brother said you would be at the fighting classes, but your instructer said you already left. Then I heard fighting noises and I came to see if anybody needed help. But I think you handled it perfectly."
"Wait did you just say you wanted to ask me out?" I say with an amused look on my face.
He nervously rubbed the back of neck and mumbled out a yeah.
I stared at his nervous face for a second before seeing over his shoulder two more men walking towards us.
"We have to get out of here come on." I grab his wrist and run him to his car and we both get in.
"Seriously why are these people after you?"
"Like I know. All of a sudden those guys attack me." I say with a sigh. "Can we just talk about it later please?"

"Okay as long as you agree to go on a date with me tomorrow."

"Fine. After school at..."

"At seven-thirty and dress casual."

"Where are we going?"

"You'll find out when we get there."

He pulls up to my house when I remember that he's my brother's friend and has been over to my house a few times, so of course he knows where I live, "Thanks for dropping me off I'll see you at school tomorrow."

"See you tomorrow Lily."

I get to my door and wave to him as he pulls away. I enter my house and go to the kitchen to make a ham-chipdip-chip sandwich. I put ham which chipdip and chips on bread. What it's delicious don't judge my food choices. I grab my sandwich and say a quick good bye to my parents and brother, and head to my room. I eat my sandwich and get changed int my pajama shorts and shirt, before laying down on my nice fluffy bed. I let the thoughts of tonight, and what will the date with Asher be like tomorrow run though my mind, as I welcome the darkness into my light.
