~Skipping shit. Dinah and Carter went to the dance together. They went out and had bs and got over each other and are just friends who rarely talk. Now they're in highschool. Keke got a bf named Shawn. Skip 9th grade cuz we know how that goes. 10th grade turnup ✌️~

~Normani's Pov~
"Mani you have your homework? Wait where's your stuff?" Dinah asks.

"Well you see I forgot it at home." I say smiling.

"How do you forget your stuff we come to school every week." She says.

"I called my mom, so she's bringing it." I say.

~Carter's Pov~

First day of this new school. I got kicked out of my other school for beating this boys ass cuz he thought I was messing with his "girl'. I go to the office to get my schedule and stuff. I walk in and see Mrs. Kordei (ik what kind of last name is that but whatever) with Normani's stuff.

"Oh hey Carter. What are you doing here?" She asks.

"I go here now." I say.

~Normani's Pov~

"The bells gonna ring and you still don't have your stuff." Dinah says.

"My mom should be here by now." I say.

We see the door open and look up to see him. Him out of all people, not that I have a problem with him.

"You know in Cinderella how the prince comes with the shoe and it fits her. Well that's your book bag and Carter is the prince, soo he's bae." Dinah says.

"Noo that's not bae it's just Carter holding my bookbag." I say.

"Whatever you say, but what is he doing here? I thought he went to Suitland." She says.

"He did, but he got kicked out because he was fighting." I say.

"Well ima go and sit somewhere else while you two catch up on things, bye." she says and gets up and leaves.

"Hey, here's your stuff." He says handing me my stuff and sitting down.

"Thanxs." I say. Well this is weird.

~Classes go by. Skipping stuff (not important stuff) Time to go home yayy~

SpecialK-Hey didn't you go to Suitland before? What happened?

Mr_Carterr-I gawt suspended for beating Jacob's ass, he's such a fuckboy. No one wants his "girl" Camila and plus she was always starin at me like chill!

SpecialK-Lls well you guys never did like each other, I'm still dying from the time you said he looks like a dinosaur.

Mr_Carterr-It's because he does like foreal!!

Mr_Carterr-Oh she forgot it and her mom gave it to me! And I'm nawt Normani's bae she goes out with Nicholas!

SpecialK- Oh you didn't hear? She broke up with him on the last day.

Mr_Carterr-Oh really?!? Kewl kewl well I gtg I'll ttyl bai!

SpecialK- Wait before you go! Do you think 'Mani could ever be bae?

Could 'Mani be bae? I mean we've been friends for so long and I don't want to ruin anything. But she's sooooo pretty! The way her long ombré waves fall into her eyes. And you know the way her eyes lit up when she laughed at my jokes. I really don't want to ruin anything but I think I really like her. I think I....LUBB HARR💕! But I can't tell anyone, at least not yet. That'll ruin every chance I may have with her, I hope she feels the same way, even if it's just a little.
