Chapter 3

Ally's POV

As I walked into the bathroom, I looked at myself in the Mirror and frowned. What did I do to make her so mad? Obviously she got the wrong idea. Ugh, Colton is probably looking for me. As I wipe the rest my tear stained cheeks, a really pretty girl with blind hair and green eyes walks in.

"Hi! I'm Josie" she smiled

"Uh hi, I'm Ally" I said awkwardly. I'm a very awkward person.

"Are you okay? You seem like you were crying.."

"I'm fine Thanks" I smiled

She smiled back at me.

"So are you new?"

"Yeah, today's my first day and so much has happened"

"I'm guessing you met Naomi"

"Yep, my brothers stupid girlfriend and how do you know?" I rolled my eyes at that. He didn't even tell me. We tell each other everything.

"Because, Naomi starts drama with everyone. Colton's your brother? As in Colton Mills?" She asked surprised.

"Mhm, why do you look surprised?"

"Because Colton Mills is the most popular guy at this school. He's the Co-Captain of the football team and gosh his looks" she finishes off with a creepy smile on her face.

"Okay ew"

"What?" She asked. "He's hot!"

"No no no"

"We'll anyways.. Can I ask you something?" She asked changing the subject.

"Sure"

"Do you..do you have cancer?"

I let out a sigh. Seriously, how do these people know?

"Yes I do. How do people know anyways?"

"Well.. Before you came, when you were registered to the school, the principal let the teachers know. I guess it got out.."

It was silent for a few seconds before she spoke again.

"I'm sorry..." Her face showed pity. I definitely don't want any pity.

"Don't be, things happen" I chuckled.

"Can you show me where the office is?" I asked changing the subject.

"Oh yeah, let's go" she smiled.

I smiled back and we headed to the office. I walked into the office and saw a lady behind her desk.

"Hi I'm Ally Mills, new student."

She looked at me and smiled.

"Oh yes, I've been expecting you" she said and looked through some papers.

"Here you have your schedule and map for the school. Your first class will be English with Ms.Stone. It's down the hall to your left." She said as she handled me my schedule and map.

"Okay thank you" I said and left.

The halls were already empty meaning class already started. My first day and I'm already late, great.

When I walked in the English room, everyone turned their heads towards me. I blushed in embarrassment.

I spotted the guys I bumped into 20 minutes ago. I locked eyes with one of them. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He's really cute. He smiled at me and I smiled back at him. I turned to the teacher.

"You must be Ally Mills" She smiled

"Yes I am" I smiled back.

"You can go ahead and sit next to Jack. jack Honey, raise your hands." Some people laughed silently at the nickname she gave him.

Two boys raised their hands.

"Uh, which one?" I asked

"Oh Sorry, Jack G. The one with the black hair" she laughed at my awkwardness

"Okay" I chuckled. I walked over to the desk next to his and sat down.

"Hi I'm Ally" I smiled at him.

"Jack" he smiled back.

"Okay class, today we're going to read an article and write an essay after." Ms.Stone said.

A lot of people groaned but I didn't, I like to write.

"Everyone get started" Ms.Stone said as she walked back to her desk and started writing on papers. I'm guessing she's grading them or something.

As I'm reading, I felt a couple of eyes on me but I just ignored it and kept reading. Thankfully, the bell ringed. I sat up and took all of my stuff. When I was about to leave, I heard my name being called.

I turned around and saw Jack and other guys, His friends I guess, walking towards me.

"Hey" I greeted him.

"Hey, do you want to uh, to sit with us at lunch?" Aw he looked nervous it's cute.

Wait a minute, what am I saying.

I just remembered I promised Colton I would sit with him and his friends at lunch today.

"Jack, is it okay if I sit with you guys tomorrow? I promised my brother I would sit with him today.."

"Yeah of course." He smiled

"I smiled back and said "Great, see you later"

And with that, I turned around and left the classroom to go to second period.
