You're the middle daughter of a famous CEO, after the death of your eldest sister you were next in line for the heir. Well, that would be true if it weren't for the sexist biases against you. Several of your father's advisers have been repeatedly telling him to have another child, primarily a son so they would take over the heir and not you, despite him already being of old age. Of course, your father respectfully declines all of these urges but this doesn't stop them from rummaging through your family tree in a desperate attempt to look for some distant cousin or long lost brother who could replace you. They're very much aware of the fact that you knew what they were doing but they didn't care, after all, you're just a female. What could you do? Take the heir is what you could and would do, you just needed to prove it to those assholes by climbing up the social hierarchy.

Of course, while you were completely set on doing so your younger sister, Mina, was being her usual love fanatic. Her belief in true love was cute and innocent but you couldn't help yourself from pitying her, she was still yet to be exposed to the real world of bullshit drama even though she was already 21. There was such a huge difference between you two despite only being a year apart in age and looking alike, you both shared the same hair color and height but you were realistic and mature while she was imaginative and childlike. You didn't blame her for being that way though, she lived with your fun-loving mother for most of her life until she died and your father took her in. When you and your older sister first met her it was incredibly awkward but soon enough you all ended up getting along very well, and to this day you still consider each other to be the closest friend you both have;especially after Yuna's death...

"Y/N!" A familiar voice called out through your door followed by a few knocks, you smiled recognizing the voice and quickly spun around in your chair so you faced your monitor as well as the door,

"Come on in Mina!" You announced loud enough so that she could hear through the door, the entrance then flew open as a perky, young girl jumped through it. You chuckled at the sight of your loving sister rushing to you, "What happened this time?"

"Hehe, guess!" She giggled leaning over your desk cluttering some of your papers;honestly if it weren't her you would've screamed but seeing as it was your dear sister you simply put it aside. You then got out of your chair and led your sister to the couches in the other corner,

"Pft, did you find true love again??" You joked elbowing her shoulder, Mina pouted and crossed her arms, "Wait for real?"

"Mhm! But this time it's real! Trust me!" she lit up practically blinding you from her excessive rays of sunshine, you internally face palmed before externally letting out a sigh,

"Dongsaeng.. that's literally what you said last time." You mocked patting her head, she pouted again slapping your hand away, "Aigooo, relax Mina, I'm just kidding!"

"Tch, Y/N! You can't even judge me on this! You don't even have a boyfriend!" Mina hissed jumping out of the couch, you giggled at her throwing a fit before standing up to lean forward and pat her head again,

"That's because I. Don't. Need. One." you claimed pulling away straightening your back again, she rolled her eyes and falsely scoffed under her breath, "Anywayyy, who is it this time?"

"Kekeke, don't worry. He'll bet he one introducing himself—" you cocked an eyebrow "—since father invited him to the dinner party tonight." Mina explained hesitating a bit when mentioning the dinner party, "Y/N, I know you usually don't attend these parties but please, just go to this one! I really want you to meet him!"
