Your day started at 6 AM that day, just to be first in line for a meet and greet. You currently stood 7th in line, you weren't first but you certainly weren't last; that's all that mattered. You had to come alone because your best friend had to work, but thankfully she was off tomorrow for the show.

You took a seat and leaned your back up against the brick wall behind you as you waited for 9 AM to hit for them to start.

You had ended up closing your eyes but were quick to open them when you heard people start to line up behind you.

A group of crazy fangirls in line behind the girl that was behind you. The girl behind you caught your eyes, she seemed to be very nervous.

"Don't be nervous, he's really sweet" You smiled at her trying to reassure her.

"Thanks but that's not the only thing I'm nervous about. I'm not from here and I don't know where anything is" It was obvious she had never been to such a big city before, you honestly felt bad for her because not too long ago, that was you being scared to death of the big city.

"Here, give me your number and I'll text you later when the meet and greet is over in case you need help finding anything" You pulled out your notebook and a pen. She took it and scribbled on it.

_______________

The meet and greet was by far one of the best ones you had ever been to. You sat in a chair outside the 'Brew Bucket' slowly eating and drinking your order as you scrolled through your photos of the meet and greet. As you remembered the girl from the line you pulled out your notebook and searched for her number along the pages. Once you found it you quickly typed it into your phone and sent her a text.

(Y/N): Hey it's me (Y/N) from the meet and greet. Is this Ashley?

Stranger: Nope. Sorry not Ashley but (Y/N) is a very pretty name

(Y/N): LMAO. Thanks, Wrong # btw, sorry!

You quickly took another glance at the page, of course, your dyslexia messes up now. 9154, not 9145.

You rolled your eyes and let out a groan. Your phone buzzed again indicating another text message.

Hannah: I'm off, do you need me to check on Lux?

(Y/N): No thanks, I'm about to head home.

Just as you were finishing your food you got a text from your mom,

Mom: Your father and I would like you to come to dinner tonight

(Y/N): I'll try

Just as you hit the send button your phone started to ring, looking at the number you recognized it from the number you had accidentally texted a few minutes prior.

Hitting the accept button you placed the phone to your ear.

'Hello?' You asked

'I need some help, I know this is weird...' He started but you cut him off

'Look dude I texted the wrong number, please don't call me again' You told him as you grabbed a $20 and put it on the table

'I'm sorry I'm here in town for my job and now I'm being followed by a bunch of girls' He said, it was clear he was walking fast if not running.

"Oh my god, that's Chase Rice" You heard a girl a few tables down from you yell. Nearly breaking your neck to look in the direction she was pointing, sure enough, it was him trying to get past all of the girls that were gathering around him as he was making a phone call.

'Shit' you heard the guy on the phone,

'Raise your right hand' you said into the phone putting two and two together.

'What. why? Can you please just help me' he sounded very irritated

'Just do it and I might help' you replied

Watching as much as you could see, you watched Chase use his left hand to hold the phone to his ear and raise his right hand.

'Holy shit' You said just above a whisper, as he walked closer avoiding the girls following him.

What are the chances that your dyslexia messes up and ends up having you accidentally texting Chase Rice?

'Now can you help me or not?' He asked again

'Yeah, look up and watch where you're walking' you told him as you raised your right hand as well.

He had a look of relief come across his face when he saw you with your hand raised as you sat in the chair.

Standing up and grabbing your bag and putting it over your shoulder he finally made it to where you were.

Pulling your phone away from your ear you pressed the end button and placed it in your bag as you grabbed your keys.

"Follow me," you told him as you took off towards the parking lot behind the building to your car.
