Abbi spotted Lukas behind her, "Lukas! H-help!" she cried out as Mariah pushed her to the ground. Lukas mouthed, 'I'm sorry.' as he turned away slowly, Mariah laughed at her hopeless, on the ground, shaking. Then, Devile moved Abbis arm and punched her right in the face. Everyone stared in shock, nobody ever had the guts to hit back at the most popular girl and rabbit in the whole school.

She clutched her nose as Abbi covered her mouth. "I'll... be back... BITCH!!!" Mariah screamed at her as the other girls rushed her to the nurse office. Lukas looked at her with love in his eyes. "Abbi! That was ama-" Lukas got interrupted by Abbi growling, "WHY DID YOU JUST STAND THERE!!??" her eyes were red with tears blurring her sight. He stepped back, hurt and dissapointed in himself for ignoring her calls for help. "I'm sorry! I- I didn't know what to do!" His voice cracked as Abbi ran for the 'EXIT' doors.

Devile chased after Abbi as she cried. She slammed the door to her house, Abbis father left the house for Abbi and the little house to rot. Her phone buzzed in her pocket multiple times but she just ignored it as she slumped down on the door. Devile sat down next to her crying as he pulled out her phone and read the messages Lukas and his friends sent to her.

'I'm sorry.'

'Are you ok?'

'Lukas is worried!!!'

'Please Abbi. I'm sorry.'

Devile was pissed and fed up with them and texted back as a different number. 'Fuck off or you will meet your fate as I did.' and quickly deleted the last part. Then, he responded, 'She doesn't know that I'm trying to help her you fucking pain!' Devile gave up and let the phone buzz. Abbi was quiet, "You okay..?" He nudged her side as her head was in her folded arms. Abbi grabbed on his arm tight. "No... I'm not okay..." Abbi told him with hot tears streaming slowly down her cheeks. 'Shit, shit, shit. Think...' Devile freaked out. "It's okay? I don't know what I-I'm doing." Devile was worried and started to cry a little, "It's fine, Devile." Abbi chuckled softly and saw black on the floor. She looked up to Devile wiping his eyes under his mask.

Abbi knew Devile was crying but she didn't know how much pain he was in. You see, whenever Devile cries his heart slowly breaks again, which is just as painful as getting hit with a bat really, really hard. "Why, may I ask, do you wear a mask?" She asked him as he looked up and tried to lie his way out of this question, "I- I don't know?" Devile hated himself. He thought he was disgusting after what his father did to him all those years ago. A knock interrupted her and she stopped trying to ask the same question again.

She opened up the door slowly to see a "upset" Lukas infront of her. "I'm so so so sorry Abbi... I wasn't thinking correctly and I didn't know what to do!" He exclaims. Devile cringed at his lying and tried to tell Abbi that he was clearly lying but she couldn't hear him trying to tell her about it. "I'm sorry too for running away and yelling at you." Lukas told her in the most fake worried tone that Mariah will be going to fight Abbi on Friday which was in 2 days, apart from today. Abbi knew that she was in trouble.
