(Beau's Pov)

I'd never given much thought to how my life would change so quickly. How I would be thrown into the supernatural world along with my sister, Bella. Funny, how I never thought I'd be a werewolf and my sister be a vampire. I guess fate works in mysterious ways, somewhat, of course. The thing is time is strange sometimes; you never know what's going to happen in the future as it always changes.

It's a hot sunny, clear blue sky. Oh, how I hate it here, don't get me wrong, I love the clear sunny weather, just not the heat. Never been a heat person, unlike my sister. It's funny, I like the cold, she doesn't. In Forks we don't get much sunshine unlike in Phoenix, where it's sunny most of the year. We visited my uncle and aunt for the summer, it was tradition, every summer we would visit them. It was fun and nice to see them again. But with summer ending and school about to start soon, we have to head back. Thank goodness, I don't think I can take this 100+ degree heat anymore. Speaking of school, unlike my sister, Bella, I hate school, but people, I'm fine with. I wonder how we're going to get through this year. Hopefully it won't be as bad as last year, as we were sophomores. This year, it's junior year. Let's hope this year is better.

Bella, who is standing in our uncle's back yard in Phoenix is holding a small cactus in her hands. Oh, you're probably wondering, why the hell am I out here in a desert where it gets over 110 degrees out in the summertime. Well, like I said we're visiting my uncle and aunt, René and Charlotte Higginbotham, long story but to make it short, my dad's sister married my mother's brother, weird I know. René is a baseball player, much to mother's dismay and his wife, Charlotte who is a crime scene investigator. My cousins Adrian and Adriana are close to me and Bella, we're like siblings in a way.

I relished in the sunlight, where I am from its cloudy, damp, wet and raining. I would call out my sisters name, bringing her out of her thoughts. "Bells, we have to go. Uncle René is putting our stuff in the car!" I tell her while standing behind, my hands in my short's pockets.

I knew it was time for us to head back home. Back to Forks, Washington, where we live. We walked back around the house and to the driveway where our uncle René, aunt Charlotte and my cousins were waiting.

"We'll miss you guys; too bad we have to wait until next year." Adriana says to us as she puts Bella's bags in the back seat.

"Too bad school is starting again soon." Adrian says to me as he helps his sister put our bags in the car.

"We'll miss you guys too." Bella replied as she hugs Adriana.

"I know, but we'll always have next summer." I replied calmly to Adrian.

"Yeah, until we've graduated from highschool." Adrian smiles then moves to the side to let his dad put more stuff in the car.

"Come on, we're going to be late!" René says as he was putting our bags in the trunk of his car. I sighed to myself, and I decided to get in and sit next to my sister. After saying goodbye to our cousins and aunt Charlotte, we drove off to the airport. I am going to miss this, the sun, the clear weather. . . it didn't take long for us to get there. I got out of the car, and I had my airplane ticket and my bags in my hands, Bella looks back at our uncle and gives him a hug.

"I'll miss you guys." she tells them.

"We'll miss you too, say hi to your mother for me." René replied as he smiled.

"We will!" I replied as I smiled back at him.

"Both of you don't want to be late on your flight." René reminds Bella and me.

"Right. . . let's go Bells!" I tell her as we walk towards the gate.

I turn around and head to my gate, handing the lady my airplane ticket. We board the plane and fly back home, back to Forks, Washington. I woke up and notice we landed in Seattle; I got up and grabbed my stuff and walked out of the plane with Bella by my side. We looked around the airport looking for our parents who were waiting for us. My mother waves her hand in the air as she saw us.
