*Bubblegum's P.O.V.*

"Okay we did it," I said when Marceline dropped me off back at the castle. "We rescued Hambo."

"Thanks Bububbs," Marceline said to me.

"No problem Marcy," I replied, "Night."

"Night!" Marcy called to me as she flew away.

I trudged back to my bedroom, weighed down by the sacrifice I made for Marcy and her stupid Hambo.

"Stupid bear," I muttered when I was in my room. "She's like what? A thousand years old!? What does she need that ratty old thing for anyway!?"

I picked up a lamp I had on my bedside table and threw it across the room. It hit my door and broke as a single tear escaped my eye. I covered my mouth with my hand as a single sob escaped. Marceline had that bear for a thousand years probably yet I got it back with a shirt that she'd given me three years ago. I wanted my shirt back. It meant the world to me.

"Give it back!" I shouted, sinking to my knees and burying my face in my hands. I started to cry my heart out. I wanted my shirt. I wanted my Marcy.

"Princess!!" Finn shouted when he burst through my bedroom door. "Princess what's wrong?"

"N-nothing," I stuttered, wiping my face. "Nothing's wrong."

"Then why'd you break your lamp? And why are you crying?" he asked me.

"Don't worry about it," I said. "I'm fine. Really. I just need to go to sleep."

"Okay PB," Finn said, helping me up. "Night."

"Night Finn," I muttered. He left and I walked over to my closet to look for something to sleep in since my favourite pajama shirt was gone. I pulled out a white tank top and some pink shorts and pulled them on before looking at the picture taped to my closet door. It was a picture of Marcy and me from a few years back. Tears filled my eyes just looking at it.

"I need sleep," I muttered. I walked over to my bed and climbed in before passing out.

In my dream that night I remembered why Marceline had given me that shirt.

"Stay the night with me," Marceline pleaded. I sighed.

 "I can't," I said.

"Please," she whined. She pouted at me and I caved.

"Fine," I groaned. She grinned triumphantly.
