Maybe I should call her and ask her where she is. That would be faster.
I took out my phone and clicked on her profile to call her. My phone ringed for a good twenty seconds but I ended the call when I heard the familiar words telling me to leave a message.
Maybe her phone was out of charge? Or it might be powered off.
I shrugged and continued my search for my girlfriend.
I went to the other part of the library and suddenly I was exposed to a load of confusion.
Camille's phone was on the ground. It had the same case and stickers all over it. I gulped and picked it up. It, sure enough, had no battery.
And I looked up.
