Alice (Aries) POV
6:05 AM... the time where I'm sent off to, The Zodiac Home, where unusual teens go to an home to control the power they're cursed with...

"This sucks..." I mutter as I pack my clothes and books, my laptop, my posters, and my stuffed toys. A knock echoed in my room. "Come in..." I didn't bother to look who it was, I just kept packing my stuff. "Hey, honey." It was my mom. She sounded sad. "Hi mom..." I take one of my books, not making eye contact with her. "Um, I know that you don't like us but, this is for the best, I don't want to do this but, your dad wanted to-" "His not my dad! His my stepdad!" I shove an shirt in my bag. "I'm sorry... I really do love you. It's just best for all of us, you don't know how it will end." I stopped packing for a bit. Staring at my hands that where covered with rubber gloves, anything I touch, catches on fire. "... Is it best? Or you don't want to say no to, Jeffry?" I say coldly. "What?" She sounded hurt. "You're scared to say no to him, because you're scared if he'll leave you. He doesn't love you..." I turned around facing my mom, who was tearing up. "Hey, ladies." Jeffry comes in the room, great. I continue packing.

"Is everything alright?" He always sounded innocent, asshole. "Yeah, everything is fine." She wipes a tear. "Hey, why are you crying?" Now sounding worried? "I-it's nothing." "Did she make you cry?" "N-no!" I slightly look over my shoulder staring at him 'comforting' my mom. He then walks up to me. "Is this how you treat your mother?"

I had enough.

I zipped my suitcase and took my other bags. "I'm ready to go." I faced my mother and she was surprised at my sudden action. "O-of course! I'll get breakfast ready first!" She rushes downstairs. "You know she'll always choose me. And only me." I hear that cold tone, that tone his been using for 3 years to me. "You don't think I know? I try to be the daughter she wanted... even if you're in the way." I turn around facing him. "So you're admitting now?" He chuckles. I wanted to punch that face but, I'll stay calm for now. "She'll say yes, anything you say. Now that I'm not around, keep her company and love, when she's sad or scared." He laughs shortly and smirks. "What do you think I was doing while-" "All I know is, you made her sad when you came home drunk and beat her." I gave him a death glare, he gulps his own words. "Breakfast is ready!" She calls out to us. "Someone is calling us." I walk out of the room and take the bags and put them on the side of the doorway.

"Since you'll be away, I made you waffles covered in bacon, with a side of chocolate syrup!" She pours the chocolate syrup, my mouth waters as it spreads around the waffle bacon. "Eat up!" She smiles sweetly. Jeffry fake coughs. "Honey! Where my breakfast?"

'Greedy pig...'

I thought to myself while devouring the waffle. "Oh, of course! Here's your coffee, your cereal and toast! Enjoy!" She goes back to cooking, I laugh silently. "Who loves me now?" I whisper at him. He glares at me, I gave him the middle finger. "Suck on it bitch."

-10 minutes later-
I finished my breakfast which I wish stayed longer. I mean, I only had one friend in my like from my school, she was caring and sweet, she was an lesbian which I support her, and the others... ignored me like I was nothing. I took my bags and headed to the door. "Treat her like a queen." I whisper in Jeffry's ear. "I will." I stared at him for a moment, I walked to the car putting my bags in the back, then sitting in the front my mom driving. Everything was silent

I was starting at the side window trees passing by and houses, I lean my head on the window. "Hey.... call me sometime." She weakly smiles. "We can't. We can't make any contact out of the school, I read the rules..." She stops at a red light. "Um, then what can I do to see you?" She turns her head to face me. "Well, the rules said you can visit sometime." She smiles brightly. "Okay! Every Friday I'll be there!" She starts driving at the green light.

-2 hours later-
"Alice, wake up." The sweet voice I hear every morning, she was shaking my shoulder, I groan and opened my eyes slowly. The home was BIG! My eyes shout open, it was like an hotel, a very huge hotel. "Come on honey, let's get your bags out." She unbuckles her seatbelt and opens the door I do the same.

We took out my bags, and head to the huge gates, there was a man dressed in black. "Name." He says in a deep voice. "My names, Alice Black. I'm supposed to be here for control of, rage of my fire." I gulp as he stayed silent and looked emotionless. "Open gates." He talks to an earpiece, a buzz was heard as the gates opened. "Okay, take your daily vitamins and always stay in class, stay out of trouble." She cups my face with her soft hands, I place my hand on hers. "I'll be okay, I love you." Her eyes water and a tear falls down her cheek. "Okay... I love you." She kisses my head and hugs me tight I hug her tightly. I walked into the gates. "Make sure she's safe." She talks to the guard. "Of course ma'am, we'll do everything we can." She nods then turns around walking back to the car, I stared at her back as the gates closes.
