Kat's P.O.V:

"Get your lazy ass up! You need to get going with these chores! These dishes from last night won't wash themselves! Katheryn!"

Lady's and gentlemen that is my mother yelling. Sometimes I wish that I am actually adopted and not born into this family.

"I'm going!"

"WHAT?!" said Mother.

"Yes Ma'am!"

"That's what I thought I heard young lady!" said Mother.

Now I have to get up, do everything before school too. The first thing i do is get my IPhone, yes I have an IPhone because I have a job too and I do have a life, I put my headphones on push play on Spotify The Weeknd came on, just listing makes me feel like I could sing like that. Now I have done the kitchen , and all the other rooms in which were three beds and dirty clothes. Time to get ready for school, the good thing I start late since I do have free period in the morning, so I get my things ready for a good shower which is my cinnamon body wash, strawberry shampoo & conditioner, the water feels so good on my body since I have these bruises, thanks to this so called family. They do it cause I like to do things my way and not their way, but I see my little brother trying to stand up for me but he cant, they will hit him and I don't want them to, he is too young for that and I will protect him no matter what.

Oh sorry, I didn't introduce myself properly, my name is Katheryn Gomez, I have long brownish hair with big dark brown eyes and light skin since I don't go out much even though I live in LA. It's always beautiful her, but I don't like going out much for so many reasons. I'm 5'6", which I don't know where I get it from since my family are all short. It's okay though I love my height, I wouldn't change it even if I could. Well, I was born and raise in LA, I also forgot to mention I work at a restaurant in a mall, it sucks but it does get the things I need for school and other personal things. I also have two besties their names are Emma Phillips and Daisy Carter, they are weirdos like me.

Now back to getting ready for school that I care for so much (which by the way I'm being sarcastic), I could care less, I just go so I could get out of this place.

Time for a little of make-up to cover up these horrible under bags on my eyes, now time for a long walk to school. It only took me 10 minuets to get here, since I love to walk and run, my favorite hobby besides reading and writing. The good thing is that when I arrive there are not as many students out. My first class is English which I kinda like, then it's science, history, computer, economics, gym class, and my most favorite class MATH.

I'm glad that school goes by fast for me, I usually have everything done for all my class. English is way easy though , especially because we usually read and write short stories, I love it cause I have lots to write about. I'm also glad that I have my friends in most of my classes, it feels awesome though cause I don't get to feel lonely all day. Classes went by quick that it's lunch already, yum! I finally get to actually talk to my besties even though I have them in most of my classes, I just love to talk to them. They understand me.

"Hey Girl! What's up?!" said Emma.

"Yeah what's going on? You look a little out of it today?" said Daisy

"Oh, no it's nothing just the regular things that goes on at home and plus school has me going crazy with all these colleges that I need to apply so I could get as far as I can. But enough about me, how's classes going so far?" I asked.

"Good just can't concentrate with my studying cause someone over her can't shut her mouth about a certain boy!" said Emma

"Oh quite! I do not run my mouth about Angel!" said Daisy

"Says the girl who is drooling right now. hahaha!"

"Any who, what college are we thinking about?" asked Emma

"I'm thinking about Moreno Valley College. What do you guys think? Is it far enough?"

"I say that is far enough! Good enough for me. If that's your final choice I'm with you all the way there." said Daisy

She is super supportive about it and willing to go with me. Now I'm just waiting on a thinking Emma.

"Well...where are we going to stay at? Have you saved enough for the trip there, plus everything we are going to need for our rest of our lives??!!" said Emma dramatically.

Sometimes I wonder where I'll be if I didn't have them to push me to save, since I like to spend my money with what I don't need .

"You know better than to ask me that! I have enough to get there and have enough to purchase groceries for a month."

"Wait What?! We were suppose to save for this?! I thought...um my parents were going to send me money." said Daisy.

"Really, Daisy. We are going to turn 18 and I want to get out of this hell whole, we call school. That's why we are working towards to save and leave." said Emma in a duh tone.

"Well yeah I know that but I don't want to do it all on my own with out my family." said Daisy

"You wont be alone, you will have us two by your side no matter what happens. That's why we are the three mucho awesomenessimo, hahaha!" I told Daisy.

"Hahaha, oh yes we are!" said both Daisy and Emma.

"I love you girls!" yelled Emma

Which'd caused everyone to look at us weird, hahaha.

"So are we doing this or ARE WE DOING THIS!" said Daisy with so much enthusiasms.
