They saw a mirror sealed with tape and caution written on it warning them not to open the seal.
Mariana opened the seal as the skies instantly darkened outside. Adriana cowered with fear. Josephine asked Martha about the mirror she said that she had never seen it before. Adriana felt sick with fear. They heard a noise down the stairs everyone rushed to see the source of the noise. They found the kitchen door open. Martha exclaimed "I had closed this door when did it open". She closed the door.They began settling in, the luggage was brought into the old mansion.Mariana began knitting a sweater. She was sitting in the drawing room. The room was filled with flower and new drapes had been changed. Martha had cleaned up everything and the place looked nice and comfy. The three sisters were well settled in. It was time for dinner and Martha had prepared a sumptuous meal. At the dinner table Mr. Bates the Butler joined them. There were several delicacies and wine. Mr. bates brought the oldest wine from the wine cellar. "This is the wine from the seventeenth century when Mr. Rasputin lived here, lets toast it to the sisters". He started pouring the wine into the wine glasses of Adriana, Mariana and Josephine. "This is too strong and the colour is blood red Mariana said sipping the wine.Josephine twirled her glass and smelled the wine, she agreed with her sister the scent is too strong.
Mariana continued knitting the sweater. Josephine began writing a poem in her book and Adriana went to explore the place. She tiptoed upstairs, there were several rooms in the mansion. Each room was decorated beautifully with paintings of flowers. A cat went past Adriana, she was surprised. Martha had not mentioned cats in the mansion. It purred loudly at her feet. She picked up the cat and went inside a large wardrobe. The wardrobe was filled with women's clothing. The silk lining was beautiful.
She picked up a dress and saw behind that there was a large space. She went inside the wardrobe there was no wall at the end. She walked further inside the dark wardrobe.
