Amaya woke up one night to a weird screaming noise. "What was that?" she asked herself. She got up and woke Dash up cause she knew better than to follow a noise all alone. At first he just ignored her, but then he and everyone else heard the scream, and grabbed whatever weapon they had closest to them. "What the hell is that?" James asked grabbing his gun. "I-I don't know..But let's get rid of whatever is making it." Jayden replied, grabbing her Axe and stood up. By this time everyone else has woken up, getting ready for the potential battle that looms in the shadows. A Scream was heard once more as Jayden stopped and looked above to make sure there was no targets but as they got to the food court they saw something a bit disturbing. They saw a guy laying on the ground, three others holding him down as he moved and growled in agony. As they got closer they saw blood on the ground and they saw what everyone feared, one of the men had been infected and not told anyone and thus turning slowly. His eyes turning a strange shade of yellow and red as he got paler and paler his body convulsing and bending in almost inhuman ways as one of the men stood, seeing them coming up and walking up ,blood on his arms and torso. "You shouldn't be here. Return to your resting area now." James stepped forward, agitated as he grabbed his gun. "And why the hell should we? We're fighting this battle too so why are we the ones kept in the dark?" The other three nodded as the guy just sighed, clearly not wanting to show them the sad truth of this life ending virus but what were they gonna see that they haven't already. The guy nods once and steps to the side as the victim growled once more, looking at them and attempted to lunge. Jayden stepped back as Dash stepped forward, weapon at the ready in case the worst happens. The other men held him down as Jax came forward, pistol in hand, as he sighed. "Dammit Mack why you..You were smart and careful. Chris tell me what happened." The man who confronted the teens turned to him and nodded. "He came back with troop 'A10' and seemed fine. one of the members said that he looked strange but they saw it as normal due to a small hoard they dealt with. I already asked how far out and they said that there was no others." Jax nodded and looked back at Mack, sighing once more as he got the pistol ready. Clearly this was a hard job for him as Amaya tilted her head. "Wait you said Mack right? He was one of your partners at your job." Jax nodded and looked back at her. "Good memory He and I were the first ones to get this place ready. But that's all a fond memory now." She nodded and looked at Mack one more time as he growled in response. Jax looked at him and smiled. "As we promised old friend. I'll make sure your resting place is an honorable one." The group saw them look at each other in a tense silence. Only Amaya saw the sad smile on Jaxs face as the building echoed with two shots.
