Time Lapses

When I walk out of the school, Xavier follows me.

“Want to hang out and catch up?” he questions.

“Sure”

“Lets go back to my place, okay?”

“Fine”

Time Lapses

We walk into the apartment and sit on the couch.

“So where have you been?”

“Its a long story”

“And we have a lot of time” He lets out a defeated sigh.

“Okay but I need to tell you something first and you have to promise me that you wont freak out”

“I promise”

“Well...... you know how in Greek myths, Greek Gods come to earth and have kids with humans?”

“Yeah, demigods, what about it?”

“It's real and me and you are one” I rolled my eyes. I mean how dumb does he think I am. Does he really expect me to believe this bull sugar!

“yeah right, whats next? Is the tooth fairy is going to rip my teeth out?”

“I'm not kidding, and I can prove it too you.” I looked at him in disbelief. There was not a hint of humor on his face.

“How are you going to prove it?”

“Come with me” He got up and walked down a hallway. I sighed, then got up and followed him. He opens the door to a bedroom. He walks in and grabs a duffel bag out from under the bed. He opens it and my mouth falls open in shock. The bag was full of weapons. All kinds of weapons. Everything from swords to bows and arrows and even some spears.

“What is wrong with you! What happened you used to be so normal and now your a psychopath!”

“Well that didn't go as planed. And I have never been normal!”

“Yeah but you didn't have bags full of weapons!” I screamed

“I didn't know I was a demigod then!”

“If you really believe that this is true and that you are a demigod than give me real proof.”

“Okay” He whistled.

“Okay you really are nu-” I didn't get to finish my sentence because something came flying through the window. I screamed and grabbed a dagger which is the closest thing to me. It felt right somehow, holding it. I felt calmer with it in my hand. When I finally looked back at the thing, I realized it was a horse with wings attached. A Pegasus I think it's called. I probably would have screamed again but I don't think anything is as weird as me holding a dagger.

“What is that thing?” I yell at Gazzy even though I already know the answer.

“It's a Pegasus”

“It can't be, their not real”

“They obviously are, geez do you need glasses Callie because it is right here.”

“If your not a demigod then where did you learn to hold a dagger correctly?”

“I don't know, it just felt right.”

“I think you found your weapon. Most daughters of Aphrodite chose something more fashionable but you have always been different.”

Did he just say daughter of Aphrodite? Wow is he mistaken. I am definitely not pretty enough to be a daughter of Aphrodite! I have curly, blonde hair (that is no where near curly enough) and dull, blue eyes. Also, I am 5' 11, which is freakishly tall for a girl my age. How is that anything like Aphrodite?!
