"Mom, are you home?" I called out
No answer
"Mom?" I called again
I went up the stairs looking for my mom but I spotted her dancing to Selena Gomez Bad Liar full blast in her bedroom. Mothers these days be thinking they cool. Anyway I walked inside and tapped my mom on her shoulder causing her to yelp out of surprise.
"Oh it's you honey, Geez you scared me." My mom said holding her chest
"Well I did call you and you didn't answer." I replied
"Yea I was just cleaning nothing to worry about." My mom said clearly lying
"Surreee." I smirked knowing her lie
"Anyway, did you find out the answer you was looking for?" my mom asked curiously
"Yea, it's positive. Im pregnant." I said starting to tear up.
"Oh sweetie, it's ok." my mom comforted me.
I snuggled up getting closer to her, enjoying her scent.
"OK sweetie I'm going to go book an appointment so you can have a check-up on the baby." Said my mom
"OK." I replied while walking into my room. I sat down on my bed and starting reading my favorite book of all time "Fifty shades of gray". I went to the current chapter I was on and starting reading from there until I was interrupted with a knock on my bedroom. I faintly said come in and there was Tanner.
"May I come in?" He asked
"Of course." I smiled
"So I heard I was going to become an uncle? Is that right?" Tanner questioned
"Yes, that is true." I said
Even though My mom and Robert is not married yet, I already think of Tanner as my little brother anyway. But that comes with a price, his bitchy sister. Plus anyway how did she know I was pregnant? This is just weird!
"That's great but just so you know if you need anyone to talk or help you, you can come to me." Tanner said sincerely
"Aww thanks." I said tearing up while hugging Tanner
"Are you ok? You look like you are about to cry." Pointed out Tanner
Before I could even asked what he meant I felt liquid drop down on my cheeks and come to realize I was crying.
"yea im fine, could be the hormones." I said
"Well great, I have to go I have football practice but I just wanted to check up on you." Said Tanner
"Thanks." I smiled "Good Luck." I said
"Thanks." He replied while walking out of my room
After Tanner left I continued to finish where I left off in my book. Then I was interrupted again when Layla just barged into my room.
"Layla, what do you want." I said tiredly
"Nothing..so I heard your actually pregnant." She sneered
"Yes! Is that a problem?" I replied back with sass
"No, just I want to wish you luck, you know with the baby and all." She replied while walking out
Something in her voice; The way she says it makes me unsure of myself. But I decided to brush of the feeling and continue my book.
