Chapter 7: The Quake

Joy: *looks at him kinda worried* U-uh... *looks down nervously*

Fear: *looks at her confused/scared/annoyed*

*the whole top half of a building starts to fall off towards Riley*

Riley: *wide-eyed*

Fear: *screams, presses a button then faints*

*Riley quickly gets up and rushes out of the way as the building crashes down*

Riley: *breaths heavily and stares at the rubble* *looks up toward her house*

*her house falls over and crashes onto the road*

All the emotions (except Fear): *surprised/gasp*

Joy: *looks at the house and then at Fear* ... *looks at the rest of the emotions* We need to see if Mom and dad are ok!! Fear is the only one who can get Riley home! We need to wake him up!! *starts shaking him* FEAR WAKE UP!

*all the other emotions start shaking him and trying to wake him up*

*a car starts going out of control and heads toward Riley*

Riley: *stands there and stares at the car surprised*

Joy: *keeps shaking Fear* FEAR CMON! *looks up at the screen* *gasp* *shakes him harder* FEAR PLEASEE!!

Fear: *slowly opens his eyes* auh...huh..?

Joy: *gasp* FEAR!! *all of the emotions lift him up on his feet* HURRY!

Fear: *confused* AH-WHAT *looks at screen* *gasp* *hits button*

Riley: *moves out of the way of the car a second before it hits her* *runs to the other side of the street*

*the building next to her starts to shake*

Riley: *looks up at it terrified*

*the glass of a window cracks and falls/shatters onto the sidewalk*

Riley: *runs out of the way of the shattered pieces*

Fear: *breathing heavily*

Joy: *looks at him concerned*

Sadness: What about Mom and dad...?

Joy: *gasp* Fear!! We need to get Riley to her house!

Fear: WHAT?? NO! WE NEED TO STAY PUT TO AVOID ANY MORE DANGERS!!

Joy: But what about Mom and dad!!! They could be trapped under the rubble!!

Fear: WELL- *looks away* *sigh* O-ok.. *faces control panel and prepares to get Riley home*

Riley: *looks at her house(that is now all rubble)* *looks all around for any dangers before starting to run over to her house*

*another wave of quakes start to shake the ground*

Riley: *struggles to stay standing* *falls to the ground and tumbles across the road*

*another car starts to come at her*

Riley: *struggles to get up from all of her scratches* *rushes to the sidewalk* *looks back up at her house and continues to rush over there* *arrives at her house and stares at the rubble that was once her house* *she sees a bunch of her things buried in rubble and/or broken*

Fear: *presses button on control panel*

Riley: *looks to her right toward the inside of her house* *gasp*

*all the emotions gasp in horror*

Fear: *lets out a weird noise before fainting again*

Disgust: *runs to the corner and barfs*

Sadness: *starts to cry*

Joy: *stares in horror* *whispers* oh gosh...
