I woke up to see a empty space beside me.
I looked around to see no sign of Jungkook
I got up and walked around our shared house.

"Jungkook?" I called out.

Nothing.

I walked into the living room. He's not here either.

This wasn't like him. I felt sad, did he forget my birthday.

Every year Jungkook would be the first one to say "Happy Birthday" to me. It made me sad that this was the first year he forgot.

I walked into the kitchen to see a note stuck to the fridge.

Note: Hey (Y/N)
Finally awake my love ???
Head to the place where we had our first date.

I smiled at the note, maybe he didn't forget.

I quickly got changed and packed my personal belongings into a purse as I walked to a nearby café.

I entered but to my surprise I wasn't met by Jungkook but by J-hope.

"Hoseok?" I questioned as I entered.

"Oh hey (Y/N) you're finally here" he said as he walked up to me.

"Happy birthday" Hoseok exclaimed happily.
"Thank you" I said as I smiled up at him.

We had a small conversation over work and some of the latest news.
He then handed me a pastry and a note.

I looked up at him in confusion.

"He knew you'd be hungry" he said with laugh as patted my back.

I watched him leave as he gave me a big thumbs up before fully disappearing.

I looked back at the note as I unfolded it.

Note: Eat up (Y/N) you still have a lot ahead of you. I got you your favourite pastry♡

I smiled with a blush as I placed the note in my purse. I decided to take the bus to my next destination.

I walked to the bus stop as I ate my pastry. I smiled as the sweet met my mouth. Jungkook knew me to well.

I got on the bus as I thought about what Jungkook had planned next. I smiled as I looked out the window. Eventually the sight of the familiar park met my eyes.

I got off the bus as I looked around.

I smiled widely as I remembered me and Jungkook coming here and having a romantic picnic.

I walked around the green fields as I walked around the lake. The aura of the whole place made me feel joy, just like that day.
