Jesse's Pov

Sitting up after getting a decent night sleep on the couch I look at the clock on the TV stand. 10 am. I stretch out my limbs from being folded on the couch for so long and I start walking to the kitchen. I bet that guy is going to be hungry when he gets up. I look in the fridge to see if there is anything for breakfast. I see eggs and bacon, I hope the guy isn't vegetarian or vegan. I put the eggs on the stove first cooking them sunny side up then place the bacon on the pan. While the bacon cooked I grabbed two plates and set the eggs on the plates. Once the bacon was done and set on the plate I grab a glass of water and the plate and move over to my room. I knock on the door a few times to make sure I'm not walking in on anything I don't want to see. I hear a faint "Come in" and I walk in.

"Hey, there sleepy head you took quite the beating last night." I tried to joke with him and he didn't seem pleased by it. He looked scared when I walked in, he might not remember clearly what happened last night.

"Um. Hi, thank you for helping me last night, fixing my wounds, and making breakfast but who are you? I'm Josh it's nice to meet you," the guy, Josh, says while taking the water and grabbing the Advil I left on the nightstand yesterday.

"Oh, yeah sorry. I'm Jesse or Jess. And no problem that alley is a hideout for people like him, but may I ask why you were in the alley anyway?"

"I was on the way to my girlfriend's flat and that alley is a shortcut. Normally no one would come that close the most people do is ask for a few dollars." Josh says while reaching for his phone. I assume he is texting his girlfriend saying he is safe and okay. He looks back at me and grabs the plate from my hand. " I need to go back home soon, my friend is going to come and pick me up, can I have your address?"

"Of course, and don't forget to keep cleaning out your wounds and rest." I type the address into his phone and we exchange phone numbers, he insisted on taking me out for dinner or something for saving his life, even though the guy would have let him go after a while... Josh and I finished our breakfast and started getting to know each other. He is a part of the Sidemen and has his own podcast. Neat.

After a few hours, the doorbell rings. I get up to answer the door and Josh goes to the bathroom. Once I open the door I was greeted by a very tall man with blue eyes, light brown hair, and a bit of acne. He was wearing a black and white shirt I think I saw once at Top Man, with black gym shorts with white bits at the end. "Um Hi. I'm looking for my friend Josh?" he said awkwardly. I didn't think he expected me to open the door.

"Right. He is in the bathroom right now, come in. I'm Jesse by the way. It's nice to meet you," I let him in and stick out my hand for a handshake which he takes.

"Simon, pleasures mine," Simon walked in and looked around. My flat isn't the best of places and it's not the worst place. It's a lot nicer than what you would expect a house from someone who does my side job.

I live in a comfy 2 bedrooms 1 bath flat with a balcony looking over some of London. Even though it's a bit dirty because I didn't expect to have company over today it's still nice. Simon sat down on the couch looking like he is at home here. "Would you like something to drink?" I ask Simon being a good host, he shakes his head and continues to look around at my little trinkets around the room. His eyes catch an old football I used to play with when I was younger with my brothers.

"You play football?" Simon questioned while getting up to grab the ball.

"A little when I was younger. I never liked any of the girl things my sister did I tend to hang around my brothers who played with their friends. It has been a long time since." He puts the ball down where he found it and continued to look around. After about another five minutes Josh comes out of the bathroom. Simon and I look up at him he looks more dreadful than he did this morning.

"The hell happened to you, Josh? Also, what did you do take a shit?" Simon said jokingly to his friend.

"Life happened on my face Simon, and yeah I did take a shit so what?" Josh sassed back at Simon. Josh started to make his way to the door. Simon got up and followed him. "Thank you so much again Jesse, and don't forget I need to repay you some time."

"I'm not sure Josh I might forget, I don't know the next time I will see you anyway."

"I'll make sure to remind him, Jesse, again it was nice to meet you I hope to see you again soon," Simon joined in on the conversation, "Now Josh and I are late for a meeting." They both wave and say goodbye to me. What nice men.

I walk back into the flat sighing, I hope it's not the last time I see those boys. They seem too nice to let go so easily. I stretch out my limbs again before going and cleaning up the flat a bit. picking stray clothes in the living room, putting the dishes in the dishwasher, running laundry, dusting off my trinkets, etc. What I tend to do with Saturdays since I have the weekends off. After I finish doing all of the chores I get the stuff ready for tomorrow. Who knows what will happen.
