DOME CITY

CHAPTER ONE

Hi there, to whoever is reading this on whatever device you are reading this on, well that depends on how advanced we are now. I am writing this so that the world will know the sacrifices that we made to reset things back to the way it was at the start. I know you are questioning yourself right now about what I mean about the start. Well, your ancestors would have thought they were the first to walk the earth as humans, sadly that's not true. A large colony of us existed billions of years ago on this planet. We were created by the same person. Well if he revealed his name to your people you would know who he is if he did not, then you guys were not worthy. Don't worry about that, you will still meet him someday like I am waiting to meet him after I die. Well before that day comes, I have to tell the story of the 4, of which I am one of them. We made it possible for you to have what you have right now and the world needs to know our story.

Everyone else has died, all painful and slow and everything on the face of the earth has been burnt to the ground and it was all our fault to start with. We have fixed it now but it cost us all our lives. My name is Florence Kings and I am the last remaining person of the 4 and the only person left on the face of the earth, and this is our story.

                                                                               CHAPTER ONE

All he could think of as he stared down at his history textbook was the first two lines to the song Ghost by banners. I really hope the song gets reinvented for you guys, that way you can understand his pain. His name was Jordan and he was the strongest of us all. He was the true definition of a leader not to begin with at first but the more he knew things and remembered all he had forgotten he became our leader. Well, this story starts way back before he became our leader, this was his second time of coming into our city but he couldn't remember. Our city is very weird, weirder than anything that exists now in your time. You can guess the name of the city from the title I suppose but I will still tell you regardless. It was called dome city, not because someone thought of it like a cool name to give the city but because the city was literally covered by an invisible dome and only I could see it, yes literally. The dome is also weird. I mean it's already weird enough when you have a dome over your city making you feel trapped, although we weren't all exactly trapped, well except for one person shoul, his name disgusts me, he is one of the reasons why we are all in this mess. Anyway the dome wouldn't let him leave the city because of the obvious that you are certainly thinking right now and if you aren't well maybe your colony isn't as smart as we were, don't take it to heart I didn't mean for it to offend you and if it did offend you well suck it up and keep reading.

Where was I? Yes, Shoul. Shoul was the bad guy but he wasn't the big bad but he was the rolling stone to all our problems. The dome would let anyone leave the city but if you leave everyone that ever knew you in the city forgets you, it's like their memories of you gets wiped completely and you that leave can't remember too and the outside world doesn't know you either, anyone that leaves becomes a nobody but however we are all humans and we will always find a way to fit in in any place we seem to find ourselves in.

Now back to Jordan. He was tall probably 5'10 or thereabouts, he always ran his hand through his dark thin hair whenever he was troubled or confused which was most of the time anyway, he was what you ladies would call hot, he was very good looking with perfect jawlines and yes he had a very hypnotizing smile which probably made Cora fall for him each time. Oh damn, I wasn't meant to talk about Cora yet but oh well, I'm really short on paper I can't afford to be cancelling I will just go on with the story and you just behave like I haven't mentioned that name. The name Cora.
