A cold January morning. A chill breeze brushing her face,Valerie made her way into the train station.

She put her bags down and waited for her ride flicking through a magazine. Her green coat keeping her warm, she sipped on the hot coffee, waiting impatiently for the train to come by.

Waiting. Valerie was never good at waiting. That was the one thing that robbed of her usual patience.

10 50 am.

The speakers went on and a lady announced the arrival of the ride Valerie was waiting for.

Trashing her now empty coffee cup, she got on the train. Spotting an empty seat by the window, she settled in.

Straightening her coat, she looked outside the window looking at the place she grew up in.

She knew this little town like a nursery rhyme. Every street and building. And now, she isolated herself from everyone she knew, visiting her parents like a stranger in the dark. Not wanting any soul to know she was in town.

She usually travelled in the nights, for the worry of being seen by people she knew. Today was an exception. She didn't know why she decided to take the morning train.

She sat there, praying would see her.

And that was exactly when she heard a voice.

"Val???"
