Joe's POV

"Yeah it was. Our wedding was perfect. And the moment you told me about our child was perfect!" I told her but when I looked down her face was pale and she wasn't speaking. I watched her be fine one minute to falling back down and shaking. I screamed for the nurse or doctor. I was trying to be calm thinking that Maddie could hear me but in reality I was just screaming out.

I was shoved out the room.

Made to wait in the cold corridor whilst I could see all the nurses and doctors run in and out the room.

I called everyone, Marcus being first.

I felt the tears never stop.

Marcus arrived shortly after I called him.

I saw his tears but he was trying to be calm for his mum who looked absolutely distraught.

I can't look much better  I thought to myself.

"Mr Sugg." I heard one of the doctors call out and I looked up to see Maddie being taken away, probably to surgery. "What happened I thought she was ok?" I asked in a rushed voice and felt Mrs Butler wrap her arms around me. "She crashed, we're not sure why. But we want to do another scan because there is a possibility that this has made the brain damage worse." The doctor said and I felt more tears.

The rest was a blur, they said our baby girl was ok which made me feel slightly better but I couldn't do this without Maddie, I needed her.

Everything was happening so quick and my eyes burnt with how much I had cried but I didn't leave, after the scan they took her back to surgery. I'm not sure why but I didn't care as long as they were making her better. At this point all I wanted to do was hug and wife.

Maddie was pushed back into the room and the doctors told us what they could. Shehad something pressing on her heart but it has been removed and she had another brain bleed. They didn't know if her memory would be worse and I was  hoping it wasn't. As well as this they told us that they didn't know when she would wake up. Mrs Butler went home and told me to ring her if anything else happened. I finally let myself rest my head next to Maddie's broken leg with my wrist next to my head.

I kept waking up, all I could see was the bright headlights and see Maddie in the car. But I tried to think of happy things, like our life when we could hold our daughter in our arms and show her off to the world. With that thought in mind I closed my eyes once again.

I woke up to someone saying my name.
