Do you ever know that feeling where someone says 'We need to talk?' and you suddenly remember all the bad things you did in your life? Well that is what it feels like when the principal requests to see you. I was sitting on a chair in her office waiting for her to come and tell me what I did wrong. She finally walked in and I inspect her. She wore her dyed blonde hair into a neat bun and wore a grey suit. Her pale skin complements her icy blue eyes but is also wearing a warm smile.

"Hello there Roxy, I am principal of Harbor high school and I came to ask you of a favor." She said while sitting behind her desk and staring at me directly in the eye.

"What's the favor?" I asked her in a quiet tone.

"I need you to help a teacher, he's in charge of taking care of the students in detention. He recently became a dad and he barely gets enough sleep. So I was wondering if you can help him make sure detention doesn't get too bad. I wouldn't want to stress him even more than he is right now." She said kindly. Wow I'm shocked that she actually cares about the other workers, I was kinda expecting her to hate her workers.

"I would love to help him take care of the students but I do have a few questions. How long do I help him and why did you ask me with this job?" I asked. Cmon don't tell me you're not wondering why she asked me to do it, hell I basically called out a hoe during lunch.

"Well from your school records you've been quite an outstanding student, you always have all A's and the last time you got a B+ was when you were in 7th grade. So I was thinking that maybe you being there might help influence the students to do better too. You will only have to help Mr. Rogers for a few weeks until he gets enough sleep." She answered all my questions.

"You can go to the detention room right now, I'll inform the adult for study hall that you won't be there today. Thank you very much for accepting the offer Miss Wright." She said standing up and held out her hand, which I gladly shook.

"No problem Ma'am. I'll walk there right now." I said picking up my backpack from the ground and quickly walk out of her office. Walking briskly to the detention room I see the door is already open and I can hear chatter in there all ready. Once I walk in silence falls in the room and I turn my head to the teacher who is already looking at me with huge relief all over his face.

"Phew. Your finally here, thank you for helping me." He whispered while flashing me a smile before pointing to a chair, wanting me to sit in it. I walked over to the desk before asking him a question.

"Can I use my phone please Sir? Or do I have to do homework." I asked while tilting my head to the side.

"Nah you could use your phone. I think I can trust you with it." He said giving me a smile. I was about to thank him but someone spoke up.

"Hey that's isn't bloody fair. You never let us use our phones."

"Because you guys are actually here in detention Peter, she's here because the principal asked her to." Mr. Rogers said while glaring at Peter. Oh fudge. Of course they would be here. Suddenly Mr. Rogers turned to me.

"Can I leave you here for a little bit? I have to go to the teacher lounge to do something."

"Yeah Sir, you could leave me. It's not problem at all." I said giving him a small smile, even thought deep down inside I am scared that he's leavening me alone. He muttered a quick thank you and went out the door.
