Dipper spent the next few days unwinding; he wasn't feeling ill anymore, and he had gotten an absurd amount of sleep, which Bill though was wasteful. There was only a few weeks left until Christmas, where he would probably be seeing his family once more. The thought alone sent shivers down his spine.

Bill was exhausted. While Dipper was incapacitated, he did all the cooking, cleaning, and shopping. While he enjoyed all these things, he was tired of feeling like a housewife. He wanted a vacation. He wanted...

"Hey Pine Tree," Bill whispered in Dipper's ear as they dressed together, "Let's go camping."

Dipper turned his head slightly, "Really?"

Bill nodded with a devious smirk. How could he say no?

Dipper shrugged, "We really have nothing better to do. Why not?"

That morning, they packed Dipper's truck full of supplies. Instead of a tent, the two men decided on placing a mattress in Dipper's truck bed and bringing tons of blankets and pillows. It would be much easier to gaze at the stars when they weren't trapped inside a tent. Bill had baked cookies, two fruit pies, he had cut up various fruits and vegetables, and he packed sandwiches for a few days. They weren't sure how long they'd be gone. They didn't care.

Dipper locked the door to their house. "Here we go," Dipper said with a glowing smile.
Bill placed a kiss upon his cheek, "I promise, this is going to be the best trip of your life."

"Of course it will be the best trip. You're coming with me."

     The demon's cheeks turned pink.

The both jumped into the truck and took off toward the wilderness. There were plenty of campsites around Gravity Falls, but none were quite as secluded as Dipper would have liked. He drove deep into the forest, up numerous hills until he found a place he once went with Wendy when he was much younger. A secluded patch of land on the cliffs overlooking Gravity Falls, rather close to where the alien cavern was located. Not many people have the determination to make it up there, so he knew they would be alone.

All Bill wanted was some kind of cheesy, romantic getaway. He had been reading romance novels, since he was getting bored of physics textbooks and conspiracy theories, and he wanted to be a character in those novels. Dipper wasn't a romantic, not really. He was more of a casual lover, more used to late night romancing and early morning cuddles. Bill was theatrical; if Dipper didn't want to make some big motion, that was fine, but Bill would compensate for what his boyfriend lacked.

Bill started a fire while Dipper constructed their bed. They had a cooler in the backseat that was stuffed to the brim with various foods and drinks, as well as a healthy supply of s'mores. The Pines family always made s'mores using peanut butter cups instead of chocolate, so they had more than enough candy laying around.

Bill found a few extra blankets and laid them by the fire. "We should have brought chairs or something," he muttered, not looking forward to sitting on the ground all night.
"It's okay," Dipper said, approaching his demon. "You can sit on my lap."

The day went on. The two locked down all their things and went for a hike in the woods. They discovered an enchanted cove with all sorts of magical creatures, but mostly fairies and sprites. Bill pulled out an old camera he had found laying around Dipper's room and snapped a few pictures. Dipper shoved his shoulder, "You're going to scare them away!"

Bill smirked, "Well, at least I got a couple good photos, right?" He dangled the camera in front of Dipper's face in a sort of taunt. Pine Tree rolled his eyes, but humored his partner.

After that, Bill thought it would be fun to try climbing a tree so he could get a picture of the whole town. Dipper thought he was crazy and that it was too risky. Bill didn't care.

     He fell.

Of course, it wasn't all that high up, and to make things better, Dipper tried to catch Bill, which resulted in an inadvertent wrestling match. Dipper finally flipped over the thin, blond man and pinned his hands to the ground beneath them. Both laid there, out of breath and out of options. Dipper leaned down, placing a kiss on the tip of Bill's nose.

"You could have at least kissed me, you idiot!" Bill shouted as Dipper jumped up and ran back towards their campsite.

"If you want me to kiss you, you'll have to catch me!" the brunette replied, taking off as fast as he could.

When Bill finally caught up to Dipper, he was back at the campsite, casually leaning against his truck like he hadn't just jogged two miles.

Bill bent over on his knees. "You are," he gasped for air, "such a bitch."

Dipper chuckled, "I thought you were the bitch in this relationship. You are just a tad bit more flamboyant that I am."

Bill stood up and walked lazily over to his boyfriend, pinning him against the truck, "Let's not forget who the bottom is here." He leaned in and kissed his neck, biting just a bit harder than usual. He got the most amazing reaction out of Dipper, and he loved every moment of it.

Dipper pulled away, "We should save this for tonight. It's almost dinner time."

Bill reached around him and grabbed his bottom. "Who cares?" he growled hungrily.

Dipper let Bill have one last kiss before leading him over by the fire pit.
