Chapter1 ("wow")
Today was the day. I was finally going to start my new job. I've been waiting 2 years for this opportunity and the day is finally here... And I'm so nervous.
What if I stuff up? What if I completely fail?! Then my career is over. For good.
Walking out the door of my smallish apartment building, I breathed in the cool, fresh air of a 5:00am London morning. Hugging my jacket closer to my body, I walked quite quickly to my car which is at the other side of the Lott. Jumping in and starting the engine I cranked up the header and let the warmth engulf my body.
Once I pulled out of the Lott, I turned the volume up on the radio and started singing along to any song that came on.
"It's not about the money, money money. We don't need your money, money, money. We just wanna make the world dance. Forget about the price tag. It ain't about the ugh, cha Ching cha ching. Ain't about the yeah bla bling bla bling. We're gonna make the world dance forget about the priccccce tag" I sang loudly and forgot about by worries.
Before I knew it, I was driving up the road to the studio of where my boss 'Lou' said she'll be. I parked my car next to a black range rover and walked to a back door.
"Well here I go" I whispered to my self as I started to put my hand on the door nob but wasn't successful. The door flew open and there stood a blonde boy with sun glasses on.
"Woah, sorry. didn't see you there" the blonde guy smiled and opened the door for me.
"It's ok.. Um do you know where Lou is, I'm her new."
"Assistant?" He spoke with a smile.
"Uh yeah... Can you show me where she is?" I asked looking down at the ground.
"Yeah sure! But first can u help me get these coffees out of my car? The boys sent me to go get them" he asked digging for his keys in his pocket.
"Sure" I smiled and walked next to the blonde guy."So what's your name?" He asked looking to the side.
"Macy, and yours?" I asked looking at him. He fiddled with his sunglasses and spoke. "Niall"
I looked over and found him smiling at me."What?" I smiled and he just shook his head.
"It's just.. I'm surprised" he slightly laughed and unlocked the car we were now standing at.
"Because I didn't freak out?" I smiled and went around to the opened door.
"Yeah" he said handing me two coffees. I thanked him and closed the door and turned back around to face him.
"Well Lou said that I can't be overly excited because it's not 'professional'. But believe me. I'm so excited that I'm working with the worlds biggest boy band." I smiled really wide and Niall just laughed at my childish behaviour.
"Well I'm excited to have you working with us. It's gonna be great" Niall said as he open the back door for me.
"Thank you sir" I said in some weird accent which made him crack up laughing.
"Wow"
"What?" I said laughing along at my weirdness. "We've only met each other a couple of minutes ago and we are already best friends. And I know that you are really bad at accents." He laughed as he shut the door behind him.
"Hey! Am not!" I laughed. "But yes. It's great to know that I've got a friend already" I said following Niall down a long hallway.
We passed various doors and took many turns. Gezzz how big is this place? I'm defiantly going to get lost around here. But at least I have Niall. I wonder what the other boys will be like? Are they gonna be as nice as Niall? I really hope so.
At the end of the hall we were walking down, I started to hear chatter and laughter. We neared a door on the right and Niall knocked. A short brown haired guy answered with a big smile on his face.
"NIALL AND THE NEW GIRL ARE HERE!!" He yelled happily as he took the coffees out of my hands.
I walked through the door and was greeted by a guy with black hair. "Hey there, I'm Zayn and you're the new girl... Uh Macy?" He smiled and shook my hand.
"Yeah and hey.... Uh how did you know?" I asked fixing the strap of my bag that hung over my shoulder.
"I was talking to Lou before you came, and she said to show you around and then you can start some work." He said and turned around to face the other boys that were sitting on the couch laughing at something Niall said.
"So you already know Niall?"
"Yeah" I chuckled.
"Ok. Um guys!" Zayn spoke loudly and they all looked up. "This is Macy, she is Lou's new assistant."
They all said hi but only one didn't. Apparently his name is harry but he didn't really seem to care. he just looked at me like he didn't even want me here!. But that doesn't bother me. Wait does it? I don't know but I have know Idea what his problem was.
The rest of the boys were really nice. Niall is like my best friend and Zayn is just awesome. And I've only met them nearly a couple hours ago! Liam and Louis seem really nice but we haven't got to really know each other much because zayn has been walking me around the whole building for a good hour and a half.

"Well that's done" zayn said as we walked into the room where we started.
"Yes, so um where's everyone?" I asked looking around the empty room.
"They've gone to the lunch room and then we have a photoshoot. Do you wanna come and get something to eat or?" He asked pointing to the door.
"Sure" I smiled and followed him out the door.
We got to the lunch room and I ordered a chicken and lettus sandwich and I sat down next to Niall where the boys were sitting.
"So Macy, tell us a bit about your self." Louis spoke up and took a sip of his coke.
"Well... My name is Macy fletcher as you guys may know. I'm 18 and I'm studying beauty and art." I said looked down at my food.
"Nice, so are you gonna be with us for a while?" Liam asked
"Yeah I think so" I smiled and I heard a huff coming from the end of the table. It was harry. Zayn nudged harry in the arm. "What?" Harry smirked and looked at me annoyed.
I looked down and started to get up to put my rubbish in the bin. "Thank god" harry said to him self but I heard him. And I think he wanted me too.
I started to walk away but Niall spoke up. "Macy! Where are you going?"
"I'm going to find Lou to see if she would like me to do anything"
"Okay do you want me to come with?"
"No I'm fine.. But thanks anyway. I'll see you soon." I Said and walked out the doors. The truth was I didn't have to see Lou, I already saw her and prepared my stuff before we went to lunch. I just wanted to sit down and think for a bit.
Why does harry dislike me so much? I haven't even been here for one day and he hates me already? Did I do something? Oh well, if he's gonna be like that then I'll be the same to him. I'll just have to wait and see.
Looking down at my phone I saw it was time for the touch ups. Walking down the hall and opening the dressing room door Lou was there with Niall sitting in the chair.
"Macy! How are you darl? Can u pass me that comb on the bench please?"
"Sure thing" I smiled and got to work.
