The large group of those who survived Richmond's fall and those who were revived had jobs to be done.
They all agreed that the New Frontier was history and should never surface again.Javier took the giant flag of New Frontier off the statue. The woman looked so much better now without the metal ring and flag around her. Or at least, that's what Javier thought.
A few other survivors tried to stop Javier from taking down the flag but their minds were quickly changed when Javier said they could have the flag to themselves."Well, look at my brother. A leader. One better than me." David chuckled, placing down the boxes of scrap metal and wrecked wood. "Hey Mike, I'll catch up to later. Just wanna talk to my little bro." David explained.
"No problem. Just I won't be carrying your boxes." Mike replied, turning his back to the two García brothers.
David and Javier just stared at each other, awkwardly. It's awkward to just see your brother alive and well after he was bitten than shot by his own son.
That's the kind of awkwardness Javier is feeling.
Because that's what happened.
"Soo. . . It's nice to see that you survive the fall of Richmond." David spoke up. He rubbed the back of his neck and looked down at his feet.
"It's nice to see you alive after. . . Well you know." Javier replied. He crossed his arms and sighed. Javier walked forward and embraced his brother in a hug.
"You know, I want to tell you something. Something that Pa told me.""You have to take care of each other. You two are all I'll leave behind. Like how Gabe and Mariana will be for David. Legacy, Javier. It's all anyone leaves behind. Be brothers! Before it's too late."
Javier smiled and pulled away from the hug but grabbed his brother's shoulders. "I kept my promise to Pa. Now it's your turn to keep a promise." He said.
David nodded. "Yeah. . . Okay."
"I want you to forget about being a soldier. Be a family man, David. Be that caring father that Gabe and Mariana once had before chaos hit. Be a loving father, before Gabe and Mariana grow up maturely because once that happens, they won't need a loving father constantly watching their backs. They'll have each others back." Javier explained.
"So be the best god damned father there ever was."David smiled. "I promise you, brother. For Pa and my family."

Clementine felt strands of hair fall onto her shoulders as the scissors snipped off her brunette hair.
She smiled, having Lee cut her hair again was always a dream. Until now.Lee stopped, placed the scissors down and wiped the strands of hair off Clementine's shoulders. "You know, I missed you Lee." Clementine blurted out.
"I know you did." Lee replied. "You've said it a lot today." He chuckled and gave Clementine her hat back.
"But it's true." The thirteen year old girl replied. She stood up and hugged Lee. "Could. . . Could you be my new father, Lee?" She asked.
"I thought I already was." Lee answered. He patted Clementine's head with a loving smile.
"Clementine!"
The father and daughter looked to the direction of the yell. "Tripp? What's wrong?" Clementine asked.
"Where is she?" Tripp asked back with anger.
Lee stepped forward to stop Tripp from coming any closer to his daughter. "You back the hell up. Now." He demanded.
Tripp stood there, ignoring Lee and continued to glare at Clementine.
"Eleanor told me about it, Clementine. Just a few hours ago. I searched everywhere." Tripp explained.
"Where is the woman carrying my child?"
