Conversation after conversation, the connection grew stronger between Nikolas and Rilie. We were best friends, but i secretly wanted more, and i knew since i laid eyes on him in the hall. There was nothing in the way of these two.. except.. HIS GIRLFRIEND?? She knew they weren't forever and it was supposed to be them two.. forever. she got mad a lot, depressed a lot, and even stopped their talking for a week because she thought he just wanted friends between them, that she'd be fine. she wasn't, not at all. She spreader around to classmates things like "we will end up dating by the end of the year just watch" "he will be mine" "i'm going to marry this kid one day" "i love him".. God helped her achieve the one thing Rilie was craving. Each day they met up in the halls whenever they could, walking slower each day, and longer stories by the minute. We met with the woman lucky enough to get him each day as i dreadfully had to walk away in pain knowing he was behind me with someone else, someone i knew wasn't me..
