She felt completely and utterly defeated. As she looked around the platform, she plastered a smile upon her face and carried her trunk abroad the scarlet train.

Quickly weaving around people, she made her way into an empty compartment and pulled out a book. She immediately immersed herself in a land so far beyond belief, letting her facade drop.

"Selene?" a quiet voice questioned.

As soon as she heard the quiet voice of the normally bubbly blonde, she looked up with a smile so natural looking that no one could see all that lurked behind on the Grecian's face.

"Marls?" In a quick flurry the blonde threw herself into the arms of her best friend.
"Oh Selene! How I've missed you! Why did you not respond to my owls?"

"I'm sorry Marls, I got really caught up with my photography and I was hardly ever home I do hope you can forgive me.."
Quickly an trace of a glare had left Marlene's face but that wasn't much of a surprise as Marlene was kind and extremely understanding. In place of her scowl, a gorgeous smile took its place simply brightening up the blonde's already beautiful face.

"Oh you know I can't stay mad at you!" Marlene exclaimed," Can you believe we're already in our fifth year? Two more years and we have to go out and find jobs and create a whole new life for ourselves. "

"Don't get so worked up Marlene! Besides no matter what happens, I'm stuck to you like glue. And on that note do you want to go see the guys?"

"Yes of course I can't believe it slipped my mind! I ran into them on the way here and they said to fetch you so we could all ride together "

"Well then what are we waiting for?" And with that , Selene stood up and grabbed her trunk before following Marlene as she led the way to the boys' compartment.

Upon opening the door she was greeted with the sight of four boys on the ground all with singed off eyebrows. Laughing she gave her wand a wave quickly restoring the boys' facial hair.
"So.... Did ya miss me?" Selene said
leaning on the doorframe as a smirk graced her deeply painted red lips.
