Matt's P.O.V

"Ryan, dude, come on!! Don't turn down this oppurtunity because of a long haul flight. It's what, 11 hours? Piece of cake"

I knew it was no use. Once this stupid man had his mind set on something, or not set on something in this case, he couldn't be persuaded otherwise.

"Matt, honestly I'm not doing it. Plus, what's for me in the UK? Dirty Brits and the monarchy? Just leave me to vegetate here in the toxic LA air!!" This was followed by the famous giggle of his.

I could tell Ryan was getting sick of me bringing this up, and has started to wind me up, but I was so excited for this trip and wished he could join me.

I decided to drop the conversation now that our Uber pulled up at the Grumps Office. We opened the office door and were greeted with the early morning grumbles from our friends.

After grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge,  I started walking over to the editing room, but Arin called me over.

"Yo, Matt. The boys and I are reviewing the itinerary for London. Come sit!"

I joined Jack, Brian, Brent, Vernon and Arin at the table, which was covered in ticket confirmations and other receipts.

"Any luck with Ryan, Matt?" Vernon asks eagerly when I sit down.

"Sorry dude, he isn't coming" I give them all an apologetic smile. We all really want him there.

"Oh well, we will have to bring him back a cracking present, wont we?"

I smile at Vernon's postive remark, and turn to Arin as he carries on with the plans.

"Okay, so on May 23rd, we fly to London Heathrow. The convention is on the 25th, then we are booked in for a vareity of press activities the following day. Our return flights leave the evening of the 29th. I presume we all have personal endeavours to complete whilst we have free time. Matt, are you still considering staying on? To travel up north?"

"Uhm, yeah. I've always wanted to see more of the UK, so I planning on going up to Scotland, perhaps Edinburgh or Glasgow? Only if that's okay with you, dude? I'll be a week, tops!"

I know I've already been given the all clear on my plan, but I just want to double check.

"Yeah, dude, absolutely!! You need a break, plus Scotland is beautiful" Arin replies.

"Matt, do you know anyone in Scotland? Y'know, to help show you about?" Jack asks.

"I don't, actually. I was going to come to you about that, Jack. I know you have alot of friends living in the city centre. Do you know anyone that would maybe be my make shift tour guide?

"Let me see what I can do." Jack says, smiling to himself.
