"Grace, I'm so sorry! I didn't know it was you!" Explained my mum. I could barely see her. My vision was blurry. All I heard was my mum repeatedly saying "what have I done?". What has she done?

By the time I recovered, I got up off of the middle of the road. My mum had disappeared. The street was abandoned. No one was here. My stomach began to hurt. Hurt real bad. I didn't know what was happening to me. I began to lose control. I began to uncontrollably sprint super fast out of the main town towards people. I was afraid of myself. I couldn't control what I was doing...

My vision began to turn red. Four of my teeth began to extended, making them very pointy...and well me..I was a vampire...

The bite. The bite is what changed me. That's what my mum was hiding this whole time! When I thought she was a murderer...she was actually a vampire. She probably couldn't contain her thirst...which is why she bit the first person she saw..I know that if she knew it was me, she wouldn't have bit me, right?

By the time I got in control again, it wasn't too late. I hadn't killed anyone yet, but I wasn't sure if I could contain my thirst anymore...

I hurried home so I could lock myself in my bedroom. When I got home I looked in the mirror. My eyes had turned red, my teeth were still pointy. It was obvious. Anyone could guess that I was a vampire if I went out like this...

Suddenly, I heard a knock on my door. Unintentionally, I sprinted to the door super fast and aggressively opened the door. My mum walked straight in without an invite. "Here, take these." she said. She handed me brown contact lenses and fake teeth so I could hide my new identity. "Thank you mum, I mean it, thank you!" I exclaimed as my mum smiled and walked out of my room.

This could be my chance to finally built my relationship back up with my mum. But what happens if I suddenly lose control and kill lots of people like she did...
