The sky is grey, the clouds dark.

The darkness is enveloping me like a blanket.

My heart has holes, they hurt like bullet wounds.

I don't know what to do, the gloom is taking over.

Then I see him.

I run to his open arms, waiting to take me in.

We stand there, looking, searching.

His hands slide to my waiste, mine around his neck.

His lips touch mine, slow and passionate.

He kisses my jaw and traces my lips with the softest touch, leaving me trembling.

A slight breeze whispers our names.

Those holes in my heart close with each kiss.

The gloom leaves me.

He then leans to my ear and whispers three words that seals my heart forever.

I love you.
