Alex
I hold Rayne's small hand in mine the whole car ride. I try to keep myself calm and try not to jump out of my seat at the mere thought of touching her, kissing her, again. I had my lips on hers just once and I'm already dying to do it again.
Everything about her is sweet. Her lips, her smile, her laugh, her attitude. I know I just met her, but something about her makes me feel like I've known her forever.
When we get to my house I bring her hand to my lips and kiss her knuckles. "Wait here," I tell her. She gives me a confused look but does as I say.
I run around the front of the car and make my way to her door. I open it and extend my hand to her to help her out. She smiles and gives a small laugh.
"Look at you being all gentlemen-like," she teases.
I take my left hand and put it to my chest in mock offense, "Are you trying to say I'm not a gentleman?"
She leans into me and puts her lips dangerously close to mine. "Something tells me you aren't going to stay very gentlemanly for long," she whispers.
I crash my lips onto hers and push her into the side of my car. I fist my hands in her hair and she whimpers softly. She kisses me back fiercely and it's extremely nice to know I'm not the only one who feels the connection here. I gently walk backwards toward my door. The whole time our lips stay pressed together. I don't stop until I feel my back hit the door. I pull away slowly and bite her bottom lip gently.
I take the keys out of the back pocket of my jeans and open the door while keeping an eye on her. I'm afraid she'll disappear. She's too perfect to actually be real. When I get the door open, she surprises me by pushing me back and jumping on me. I smile before kissing her once again. She wraps her legs around my torso and I hold her up by keeping my hands on her ass. Her dress rides up on her thighs, but she doesn't seem to care at all. I close the door when we're both inside and then press her against it.
I pull away from her mouth to trail kisses down her neck. I'm just about to kiss the spot above her breast when I hear someone clear their throat behind me.
Shit. Eli.
I feel Rayne freeze and before she can freak out on me, I whisper in her ear, "That would be Eli. I forgot he was here."
Even though the room is dark, I know she's smiling. She gives off a small chuckle and unwraps her legs from my body and I put her down. I try not to groan out loud because I immediately miss the contact.
I flick on the light and turn to look at Eli. He's sitting on my couch in his pajamas with a bowl of popcorn next to him and the T.V remote in his hand. His eyes widen when he sees Rayne standing next to me. A few pieces of popcorn fall out of his mouth when he opens it to speak.
"Um, hey guys," he tries to smile, but I can see how awkward he feels.
Rayne clears her throat next to me and grabs onto my arm. She looks up at me with wary eyes, "Maybe I should go."
Eli immediately gets up off the couch and turns off the T.V, "No, no. Um," he fumbles with his fingers. "I'm just going to get out of here."
"That'd be great, bud," I say. And I mean it. That would be so great.
Rayne scowls at me and looks at Eli, "You don't have to go anywhere, Eli. I'll just leave." She looks at me and smiles, "It's not that big a deal."
"For you maybe," I mutter. She laughs and puts her tiny hand on my cheek.
She gives me a small peck on the lips and whispers, "How about I give you my number and you call me tomorrow? It's gonna have to my house number, though..."
I sigh and look at Eli. He's gathering his things so that he can leave. I look to the couch. "Actually, I have an idea."
