Rosè's Pov

I saw my friends at the entrance by my window. Technically,  I'm not yet allowed to go and mingle with the guests. I have to wait for my grand entrance. What an exaggerated event. Psh,  If only I could escape but how can I escape if there's a hefty amount of guards here?

Timeskip~ an hour later

Finally, after an eternity of waiting,  (note the sarcasm) all the expected guests have arrived and now,  I am behind the curtains waiting for them to unravel it so I can rock the staircase with my oh-so-marvelous gown and make it look like I'm on a runway. 

"Good Evening, Ladies and Gentlemen. I would like to present the heir to the R & J company,  which is also my daughter. Park Rosè! (A/N: I will not call her Chaeyoung)" My 'mother' said and they all gave me claps. The curtain before me was pulled back revealing me.

I walked down the staircase and I immediately saw my best friends. Lisa was smiling and cheering at me. Jisoo was there smiling while giving me two thumbs up and Jennie was smirking at me.

When I reached the last steps, a guard ushered me into the stage. And now,  I'm nervous to meet my fiancée...

I saw an old man (no offense) made his way into the stage and my mom gave him the microphone. He tapped the mic and spoke.

"Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen,  I would like to introduce my grandson who is the heir to the Park's Business Planning Incorporated. Park Jimin!" He said and a loud applause was heard.

Wait,  did he say Park Jimin?? As in Jimin the international playboy??????!!!!!

I glanced at my best friends and their expression wasn't the best sight. Jisoo's smiling face was painted with a frown,  Lisa's cheerfulness turned to a look of confusion and Jennie's smirk faded into a scowl.

I took a look upstairs and like me,  the curtains draped to the side revealing my fiancée.....
And I was right.... It was Park Jimin himself. I couldn't move and was frozen on the spot. I can't believe I'm so lucky to be engaged to a person I have feelings for.

But, .............................I know he's a player. I watched him walk down the stairs and when he looked at me, he had a look of confusion and shock written over his face but it quickly faded and was replaced by a smirk.

He came to the stage, took my hand and kissed it, making me blush 50 shades of red.

"Okay so now let's start the party!" My mom exclaimed and I saw couples make their way to the dance floor.

I got away from my 'fiancée' and got food from the buffet table.
