So, now that you've realized that this book is very cliche... just know I warned you.
Leo is pronounced Lay-Oh

Ruth Davidson --

**Beep Beep**

I press the button atop my alarm clock, turning off the obnoxious noise. I uncover myself and head to the shower. I take my time wiping off the remnants of last night, letting the water soothe the aching in my body. Hopping out minutes before the water turns cold, I wrap myself in my towel. I hum to myself as I dry my hair and then brush my teeth.

Exiting the bathroom I examine my closet for a simple and comfortable outfit but also something classy and chic. I see a sticky note on a particular outfit, it read 'Wear this Ru. You are going to kill this wedding. Dorothy said she wants you to flirt with the groomsmen." I laugh as I remove the paper and get a good look at the clothing.

It was a skirt and top pair, a long sleeve light pink top, with a round neck. The skirt was long and chiffon with a slit up the thigh. There was a small space in between the items, showing a small amount of my deep brown skin. I grab some white chunky heels, to make my 5'4 frame appear taller. Heading to my vanity I start on my makeup: nothing too serious I don't want to distract from the clients of today. I quickly blow dry my mop of hair, using my fingers I diffuse some of the tangles and apply some product. In no time I finish and pack up my makeup supplies in the car.

Entering the venue, I admire the aesthetic of the architecture and how it connects to the nature surrounding the building. I rush in and head to the designated room with the bride and her bridesmaids. I knock before entering, announcing my name.

"Hey Carly, Its Ruth." I look around and I can already tell its going to be a hectic day when all of the bridesmaids are consoling the bride. I walk over to the situation at hand, excusing my self as I attempt to get closer to the client. I kneel down beside her. "Carly..." I whisper close to her crying face. "What's wrong?"

"My shoes still haven't shipped and they are the only ones I wanted!" She sobs out. I look at her bare feet, they look similar to mine, if not Betsy's.

"What size are you?"

"6 and a 1/2. But they were these white heels that I fell in love with." She continues to wail her hands moving in dramatic actions. I look down at my feet and then back at her.

"Carly, I am the same size. If you want, You can wear my shoes? That way you don't have to spend any more money or anything." I offer with a small smile, regret already sinking in.

"You would do that? You are the best!"I laugh as her face instantly brightens. I slip off my favorite heels and set them over by her dress.

"Anything for your day to be perfect!" I tell her, the bridesmaids take an audible sigh in relief. "Now lets get started!"I laugh. Carly heads over to the hairstylist, while the maid of honor follows me to my stuff. I quickly set up and have her sit down.

The good thing about these bridesmaids is that they are all getting the same look. I do minimal coverage on the face, soft contouring, light blush, natural brows, a nude-pink lip, and a mauvey natural eye. I do two more of the maids before the bride is ready for her turn. She sits in my chair, an appreciative smile is playing on her lips. She grabs my hand.

"Thank you so much for earlier. And just in general. Everybody looks so beautiful." I nod, thanking her softly. I ask her if she wanted anything in specific for today. She grins, pulling out her phone. Her eyes widen in excitement as she scrolls through her Pinterest , anxiety starts to build in my brain. She shows me a picture of a very simple natural look. Relief washed over me. "I like this one, but do you think we can make the lashes more dramatic?" She asks doubt in her voice. I nod assuringly. I ask her about what lip color she wanted, she quickly decided on a deep red. I finish her look soon enough.
