As people often do in ridiculous situations I burst into laughter. I couldn't help it. First the weird...vision thing...then this?
"I have to go home. Now" And then I ran from him. Ran to my car with my keys in hand praying he would just leave me alone. And right as I held up my keys to click, I heard his voice again. "God won't answer a demon. I wouldn't bother trying that anymore."
I whipped around wishing desperately I was not so stubborn but unable to be silent.
"WHAT EXACTLY DO I KNOW IAN" He waved his hand and my eyes glossed over showing me the black eyed man. It lasted only a moment, but it did not feel any better the second time.
He took my silence as acceptance. Apparently to him, now was the perfect time to unfurl his wings. They unfolded from thin air, and settled at his sides. My mouth dropped in awe. The detail is what truly amazed me though. It was almost as if silver and gold had come together in perfect harmony to create a winding maze of divinity. Next, he held out his hand. "Come. The Creator needs to speak with you now that you've been awakened".
If I had any sense at this point I would've pulled out my taser and knocked his ass out. But I do not in fact have any, and stepped forward to grab his hand. At the moment it seemed useless to argue with him.
I felt a sudden warmth around me next, and I closed my eyes hoping desperately take off would not make me throw up. How embarrassing would that be? "You can open your eyes. You're gonna want to see this"
And he was right.
