"and that's why he came home like that, and acted that way with you..." finished taeyong.

"so he's a... baby... child? in a adult's body?"

"only when he's feeling sad or in a really bad situation of mind... i know him since... forever... but i really don't know why he needs to change his mind space and pretend that he is a kid"

"uh... and... what now?"

"well, you're the closest person to him... you should talk to him when he wakes up, try to understand his side... he will probably apologize. if you think tonight and conclude that you don't have problems with that... just... let him be and help him with what you can. if he needs to get constantly in that space, something is probably wrong"

"wait, you're going home? you're not staying?"

"dude, i have two littles to take care of, i can't have kun and hansol staying all night and i'm sure they're making out in my sofa" answered the older, receiving a disappointed sigh as an answer.

"okay, i'll call you if anything comes up"

well, yuta didn't really have much time alone to think, because as soon as taeyong left the house, the door for sicheng's room opened, the boy leaving his room with a puffy sleepy face and with his hair straightened up in a weird angle

"taeyongie hyung was here?" he asked in a low voice, his chinese accent peaking through some syllables, while moving lazily through the livingroom deciding where to lay down "yes, i asked him to come so we could talk" yuta rapidly answered, low key hoping the boy wouldn't choose the sofa he was sitting on for him to lay down

it was something sicheng would often do. wander around the room before choosing one of the three sofas to lay down. now yuta just wanted to analyze the situation, he couldn't just try to talk with a sleepy 'possible' kid about something that serious

oh well, and what could possibly be a better way to analyze it? nothing could be better than the obvious choice of the younger. he was going to sleep on the couch yuta was seated on. so he crawled through the sofa until he was close enough to lay his head and the upper portion of his torso on yuta, who was paralyzed

just like that, yuta looked at the boy, afraid that if he moved or tried to escape, the other would cry like a baby, or be mad at him, or something that would bring him trouble. so, to avoid the bad possibilities he just stayed there. the only move he made was to get his arms around the younger's body as soon as he noticed the rock sleeping over him was sliding down and would most likely fall, probably on the ground

he stayed there analyzing sicheng's features, how calm he now looked, really different from his arrival. and he thought. he REALLY thought it through. and decided nothing.

when he saw sicheng's mouth open and starting to drool, he decided, for now, that he would take the smaller boy back to his bed. and so he did, covering the other with the fluffy blanket and leaving the room, going to the kitchen; he really needed a tea to help him think.

and so he saw it

he saw a purple with white paci, "winwin" marked on the paci's hook and a small note that said "yuta-ssi, i think you'll need this later. xoxo taeyong"

and then, it was all cleared to yuta. he decided.
