Hey there. Not sure how to put this other than sorry for stopping all of a sudden. Also I'm not sure what Rosaia would want me to do here. She probably would want something like this.
Break ups are never easy. They happen for many reasons. We don't always know those reasons or what led up to this event. But it happens. You feel lost. Whether you loved them or not if you aren't torn apart afterwards then you didn't truly care then. If you loved them deeply then it's worse. Yet. The important thing is. Neither of you say the common line of, "I hate my ex" if you hate them. Then you didn't love them or mean anything you told them while you two were together. All those long endless nights. Texting or staying on a call together. You both should cherish that and for whatever reason you broke up or ended that shouldn't affect the special thing you guys had. They say being friends never works out. Usually doesn't, because one needs to have feelings still and it ends up being a problem. I'm not saying you have to talk to them often or anything. All I'm saying is never let the small act of breaking up ruin what you two had. It hurts when it happens. It hurts a lot. So when you break up for whatever reason. Remember what you had and say it was fun while it lasted and keep walking. Maybe one day it'll work, maybe one day the promise you two made together will come true. Maybe not. Either way, always know that you did what you could and enjoyed your time with them and if you do that you'll have nothing to regret about.
