You know, good old Canva.
If you want to make a cover, use it. :)
If you want to make a cover for Ivan (and many other people) from the other side of the globe, you may want to find something else.Anyways, remember my shop from the last chapter.
Fortunately, I discovered Canva before I got my first order. Which was this one.
So, I made covers like these (top). Direct Canva templates. No innovative ideas.
Then, stuff like these using both Pizap and Canva, which I actually like. Yes innovative ideas. Maybe a lil bit.
And my final covers on Canva.
The Artist also was made both using Pizap and Canva.
And you can see my ugly cropping skills in Starlight. I've improved now.
Now, about Canva.
Canva is awesome. It is wonderful. Or as Trump would say, it is terrific.
It gives you professional looking covers of high quality if you use it right.
So, why don't I use it anymore?
Because it is very limited. Unless I get an idea of what to do, all my covers may end up looking the same. I can't crop images on it. I can't draw or erase stuff. Can't add shadows.
And I can't make manip covers.
Well, duhh. It isn't a photo manipulation program. It is for everybody to use.
And that is why Canva is a good start for simple covers. You can see the difference between Hanging Life and The Poet Girl. I believe it happened in one month or so.
That's just my opinion. I'm not a professional, so you may want to check it out for yourself. I still love Canva. It has a lot of vectors and icons already. The text comes out nice and clean. It is very satisfying.
