It was a beautiful day at Never Lake. Today was the day that happens every few years, the appearance of Little Planet, where rare gems called Time Stones lay in rest. The Gemstones allowed the holder to travel through time to the Past, Present, or Future.

Meanwhile, in a city.

"Hey, Tails, Whatcha reading?" Sonic asked his Two-Tailed companion. "The Newspaper. Hey, Sonic, look at this!" Tails said. "'Little Planet appears over Never Lake'. Hey! We should go! Wait a sec, what's this? 'Amy Rose kidnapped by Sonic the Hedgehog, taken to Little Planet'". Sonic Read. "But we've been on Westside Island until today!" Tails said. "I have a feeling a certain Doctor is behind this."Sonic told his pal. "Come on, Tails, let's go to Never Lake!" Sonic said as he sped off to Never Lake to save Amy Rose from this Imposter.

Later...
Sonic and Tails sped through the Never Forest and arrived at Never Lake.

Sonic sped up a rock as Tails flew beside him. "This looks like the Death Egg, Sonic! Robotnik is behind this for sure! What will we do!?!?" Tails said. "..." Sonic stood silent,

then smirked as he jumped off the rock
and curled into a ball as he rolled down

the ramp on the rock. "Yahoo!!!" Sonic

yelled as he was propelled on to the chain keeping Little Planet confined to Never Lake.

Sonic quickly sped onto the planet with two goals, Save Little Planet, and Rescue Amy Rose.
