Norbert landed with a thud on the top of a mountain. There were traces of snow on the ground and large claw marks along gnarled, charred tree stumps. The sky was a dark gray with snow falling on some of the other peaks near by.

"Wake my friends we must rest here before we head into the valley," Norbert warned the others. "We must spend a few days here before the magic shifts."

"What?" Charles asked as he tumbled of Norbert's back, who at the time decided to lie down.

"Charles! Sarah, she... she... she's well. Nothing wrong. No trace of illness," the mother interrupted as she helped Sarah from Norbert's back.

"Missy, that is amazing!" Charles declared. "How Norbert? How is this possible?"

"Charles, I have told you there are things I cannot even explain," Norbert glanced down the mountain where large shadows were moving quickly around, with small burst of mysterious light. "Shall I tell the story of Mister Jimmy? Do not worry about falling asleep, you will be able to hear the story, but in your dreams you will see it. So, best get your rest my young friends."

Charles was grabbing blankets from the small pile that just appeared next to him. "Yes, Norbert a story sounds good. There is no fire how are we..." Charles stopped and looked at Norbert. "You can breath fire, right?"

"Of course, I will. This stone can hold fire for hours longer than anything you have seen," Norbert groaned as her old bones ached as she got up and breathed a small circle of fire around the group of them. "For protection and warmth."

"Night, Norbert," Sarah piped up and rubbed Norbert's back a bit before hugging her mother and father goodnight. Sarah settled down in the center of the circle facing Norbert who was near the edge of the circle.

"Thanks Norbert," Charles began, but stopped when Norbert started her tale.

"One day in my lovely cave there was a mouse, poor little mouse. Jimmy came to me everyday to hear my tales and to tell me about the outside world." Norbert's companions fell asleep at that moment, so she rested a bit before continuing. "Jimmy grew older and wanted to travel the world. I warned poor Jimmy, but he did not listen. Jimmy went out into the world, but came back months later with a wife. He asked if they could live with me again and I agreed. When the next traveler visited, Jimmy scurried towards the traveler, but was stepped on by the traveler. Out of anger I roared with all my might before breathing fire on the traveler.

"Poor little wife of Jimmy's had herself a heartache and died soon after hearing this sad news. So, I burnt both of their bodies and spread them in a circle around Jimmy's favorite, little plant that he wanted to grow, but had kept failing. After a few days the plant turned green and grew to great health. Each year on the week of Jimmy's death a flower blooms for him, then one for his wife, and one for when I helped the plant to survive in the honor of Jimmy's image. So, each year for about week three flowers bloom on poor Jimmy's plant."

Norbert looked up at the snowy sky and watched a bit as the snow swirled away from the group around the circle of fire. Norbert saw the shapes twirling around through the air.
