The store

I just left the factory and I'm excited to see where I go. I see lots of other Reeses cups and we are all in a big bag. I'm excited to see that we are being stocked on shelves. I can see there are lots of bags of candy around my bag. Across from us are lots of buckets shaped like pumpkins, very odd. The lights of the store turn on and I can see my surroundings much better. Next to the buckets are concerningly realistic Halloween decorations. There are some people walking by every few minutes. As the day goes on, more people come. Everyone seems to like the bags with a variety of candy. Its October 20th so not many people wanted to buy candy. I like looking at the costumes in the baskets of people walking by. Lots of them have the word sexy on it. Then there was a little boy who threw my bag into the basket his mom was holding.
"Jack we already bought candy!" His mom yelled then threw the bag back in its place. My first day here was pretty boring though. I try making convorsation with the Reeses around me but then I remember we don't have mouths. The store closes and the lights shut off. Out of the corner of the bag I see a person carrying a TV out of the building. I don't really care because there's nothing I can do, I'm just a piece of candy.
I'm trying to imagine what its like to be a Kit Kat. Is it different than being a Reeses? What about being a solid bar of chocolate? Fruit? I'm bored out of my theoretical mind.
Its October 30th now and my bag is one of the only ones left. The day goes by as normal, store opens, customers come, store closes. Its fun tonight because a bird made its way into the store. It flies around and I see it every few minutes. It pecked at my bag a few times but didn't leave any holes.
The next day came and the store opened like usual. The bird left though. Its Halloween day and I've lost hope of being bought as Halloween candy. Its about 11 in the morning when a man comes running down our aisle. He frantically grabs my bag and I'm about to cry even though I'm not capable of crying,  I'm not even sure how I'm capable of thinking. I get to see the rest of the store while the man runs to the cashiers. Its quite a large store, certainly bigger than I thought. We get slammed down on a counter as the man pays for the bag. I thought we were worth more than $3. We get thrown into a minivan and get driven away from the store.
