Tracey got out of her
second cab of the day and went in the lobby of her apartment building. She was about to go in the elevator to her floor when she heard someone calling her from behind. She turned around. There was Niko, running to her. He was wearing a blue V neck t shirt and blue jeans.
"Niko?"
"Yeah. Wassup?"
"Niko.....?!" Tracey said strictly
"Okay, okay. I'm sorry."
"You're sorry?? Don't say sorry to me, say sorry to your wife! I was with Alisha just now and she fell asleep! The baby was crying and everything! What's wrong with you!? Why'd you lie??!!"
"It's too much! Look, if you were in my shoes, wouldn't you do what I did?"
"No! I'd have a family to take care of!"
"Well, you didn't know about the drugs and-"
"DRUGS?!" Tracey shouted.
Niko looked around
nervously.
"Shhh... Don't say it so loud...!" He whispered.
"Do you know why I was going back to my apartment room?"
Before Niko had
a chance to reply Tracey started again.
"Because I'm moving in with Alisha to help her! And you're lying 'bout being deported and going on drugs!!"
"Well you missed the cheating p-"
"EXCUSE ME??"
"I can explain-"
"Don't. Just don't even."

Tracey walked to the elevator and disappeared from Niko's sight.

"I can't believe Niko.. I can't believe he did this.. Why? What did I do to deserve-" Alisha said over the phone crying and sulking.
"Alisha. Listen to me. You did nothing to deserve this. You're a good person, you're a good wife, and hell you're the best mother I've ever seen!"
"And the only mother you've ever seen...."
"Yeah, well fuck Niko. Fuck him. You don't need him. He's a drug dealing son of a bitch."

There was a knock
Tracey heard over the phone.
"Is someone there, Alisha?"
"Think so. I'm going to check.. " Alisha declared and sniffed from crying so much.

Tracey overheard the conversation.
Niko had stepped
inside the house.
"Get out, Niko. Get the fuck out of my house right now."
"No, babe, I need to talk to you about-"
"Don't even go near me. GET OUT. Get out you lying cheater!"
"Alisha.."
"Just get out... Just go.. Please.."

Tracey had heard the door close. Tracey had got out of the can, got her things and headed into Alisha's house after hanging up. Tracey saw Niko walking down the driveway and looked back at the house. She went inside.
"Alisha.. I'm sorry."

Alisha wiped her eyes with a tissue and swallowed. The messaging machine turned on.
"Alisha this is Niko.. I-"
Before the message finished Alisha turned of the machine.

The baby started crying. Alisha was too upset to notice. Tracey rushed over to Christan and rocked him as she went into the kitchen.
"Um, I think he needs his diaper changed, Alisha.."
"Oh," Alisha sniffed," I'll take care of it.."

Alisha turned
her attention to Christian. She had a higher pitch on her voice to calm Christian.
"Hey there, Chris. Wanna change you diaper? Huh? Okay. Come on... Mommy's gonna take you upstairs.."

Alisha walked
up the stairs. It must be real hard on Alisha Tracey thought sympathetically.
