As ares disappeared knowing Steve was on his back he kept going toward his destination. For Ares knew how much to man meant to the goddess so he allowed the man to hold on. Steve knew after a few seconds what he did was stupid and he thought to himself what if Diana could not find him. What if Ares kills him as soon as they land. For he did not know that Batman put a tracker on Ares. Back with Wonder Woman, the heroes look in confusion until Batman finally gets a detection of where Steve is.
" I have a read on him Wonder Woman " Batman says
She looks at him
" We need.... hey!" He yells
Wonder Woman takes the tracker and flies off. She turns half way and looks at the heroes.
"Sorry guys I have to do this on my on this is my fight I will see all of you real soon!" She yells while smiling then she turns and flies away
" well now I have to replace that one." Batman says
Superman looks at Batman and chuckles a word
" Again!"

While Wonder Woman searches the sky and ground for the nearest evidence of Ares, she finally hears something.
She rushes to the noise and finds herself at a cave in the woods she stands behind a boulder and listens
"LET ME GO!" Steve yells
" Now why would I do that powerless human?." Ares exclaims
"BECAUSE SHE IS COMING AND YOU WON'T LAST!" Steve yells back
Ares looks at Steve and starts to smile he holds his grin for several seconds and starts to laugh
"TAHAHAHA!"
"YOUR SO STUPID! YOUR THE BAIT SHE WILL COME FOR YOU.!" ARES YELLS WHILE LAUGHING
Wonder Woman takes her lasso off and peeks around the corner and lassoed Ares, she yanks the lasso and starts flying toward him feet first and hits his chest with her right foot and as fast as she could pulls the lasso off of him and drops to her left knee with her right foot firm and looks to the ground then looks up to see Ares tumbling to a boulder. As he hits he falls to his hands and knees with his hair being pulled to the ground. She sees his eyes look up but his head has not movement he sits up and smiles with blood coming down from his mouth. He looks up straight at her and stands up with his arms lagging to what he wants them to do.
"I told you she would come." He says to Steve
Wonder Woman takes her tiara and throws it toward Steve and hits the rope the snap sound let him know it was time to make action he flips the chair and looks to see the tiara fly back to Wonder Woman and she puts it on. Ares starts saying demonic words. As the words come out the dead rises around Steve. Wonder Woman looks at him
"STEVE!" Wonder Woman yells
As she pays attention to Steve she hears running she looks up and sees Ares running at her and dives on her she hits the ground and he sits on her torso and starts punching her in the face constantly. Then he clasps his hands together and rises them up over his head and slams them on her head 3 times until she finally catches them holds him for a minute and clinched her teeth and throws him she stands up and runs to Ares to and finds herself at a sudden stop. She looks at Steve and sees him fighting off the dead bodies until he missed one and a sword of a dead pirate snuck into the back of Steve.
Steve falls to his knees and looks at Wonder Woman with blood coming from his mouth she looks at him and runs, takes her lasso out and lassos the dead ones and throws them toward Ares. She rushes to Steve and catches him before he hit the ground. She looks at his eyes as they slowly close and she cries and looks for Ares and sees he is gone and looks back Down and sees Steve has his eyes closed she takes him to the nearest hospital for hours she sits and waits for news and a doctor walks out.
" Diana Prince ?!" He yells
Diana stands and he walks to her
"Are you Diana?" He asks
"Yes." She answers
" Miss Prince he is alive and is stable, may I ask how he got a sword injury?" He asks
"I just found him like that sir" she says back
She walks to see Him and she gets in the room to see he is sleeping. She walks out of the hospital and continues looking for Ares.
