"So where are you meeting him again? Do you want us to walk you there? Are you going to alright out on your own? My little baby is growing up!"

"Youngjae. I'm older than you, first of all. I'm fine to walk to the park by myself. I don't want him thinking you guys are coming just because you're all so over protective of me." Jackson whined as his three roommates were getting ready to leave with him.

"We just want to make sure you get to where ever it is safely. We care about you and we just want to make sure Jaebum isn't going to treat you like trash. Like yeah he's an idol but you never know." Mark said sighing as he grabbed his coat. "Besides we need to get groceries too. We're almost out of ramen"

"Besides, we have to embarrass you in front of your date or it isn't a date. We have to make sure you don't get any dick tonight." Yelled BamBam from the hallway. "It wouldn't be fun for us nor the rest of The JJ Project crew." Jackson just sighed and walked out of their apartment. The other three scrambling to follow behind him, not wanting to miss the chance to embarrass their friend.

The walk to the park was filled with three out of four boys thinking of ways to embarrass Jackson in front of Jaebum. While Jackson was thinking of ways to cause three deaths in ten minutes top. He didn't want any of his friends to ruin how Jaebum viewed him with their stories or comments about him. Jackson was almost a hundred percent sure that Jaebum already had a shitty view of who he was. It's a miracle that Jaebum even said yes to a date with him.

The park came into view and Jackson could see Jaebum waiting in front of the gate for him. Unfortunately, if he could see him, so could his roommates. "Jackson~ look it's your boyfriend!" Mark said pinching Jackson's cheeks the moment he noticed Jaebum causing the other two to start teasing the blushing boy. Jackson tried prying Mark off of him, as they got closer to Jaebum. Mark refused to let go of Jackson, claiming it was for safety and jealousy reasons that Jackson doesn't need to worry about.

"Isn't Jaebum just the cutest? Like oh my god I just want to lick his face." Bambam said as loud as he could as they were right next to Jaebum, trying to get his attention before Jackson could say anything. "Oh wait never mind that's Jackson that wants to do that." At the mention of Jackson, Jaebum turned towards the group smiling and waving at them.

"I swear you will not live to see another day. Say goodbye to everything you've ever loved, the moment this date is over so is your life, you little scumbag." Jackson muttered under his breath, hoping Bambam would hear his threat.
"Hi Jaebum!" He said plastering a smile on his face for his date.

"They're not tagging along, are they? No offense but I was kind of hoping for it to just be the two of us for this." Jaebum said frowning slightly and pointing towards the three tag-a-longs.

"Oh no, they were just leaving. They wanted to make sure I got here fine, which I did. So they really have no reason to still be here." Jackson said, his words slurring together due to the speed he spoke. "Bye guys, I'll see you guys later tonight probably."

"Your curfew is 11pm. If you're not back, I will personally walk my ass over to the JYP building and request that pretty boy over here is called in. Have fun though!" Mark said with a smile as Youngjae tried pulling him and Bambam away. He hoped to save Jackson some embarrassment, but Mark had to open his mouth before he could.

"So.... what now?" Jackson said tilting his head up at Jaebum. His face was red from Mark's supposed curfew he now had and Bambam's way off getting attention. He had really hoped that his friends wouldn't say anything at all while hanging around Jaebum before they left the two alone.

"Now, we go have the best date that we can before I get spotted. I almost had a heart attack when Bambam, is it, mentioned my name. I thought someone recognized me that wasn't you." Jaebum rambled as he grabbed Jackson's wrist pulling him into the park. "I had Yugyeom set up a part of the date in here. I want this to be the best date you'll ever have. You're such a sweet and lovely boy and I'm rambling aren't I? I'm sorry I'm just nervous, I suppose?"

Jackson just giggled in response, covering his mouth with his free hand. Jaebum's grip on his wrist loosened as the pair continued to walk through the park. He let go of Jackson completely, hoping the other would follow behind him. Jackson reached forward and grabbed Jaebum's hand, muttering a quiet 'so I don't get lost' as his reasoning. Jaebum just squeezed his hand and turned to look at the smaller boy. Jackson was blushing like crazy and was staring at the ground with a smile playing at his lips as he walked. If Jaebum could've, he would have taken a photo of him at that exact moment. He thought Jackson was the cutest thing in the world already and seeing him act shy just made his heart flutter.

The date Yugyeom set up for the two wasn't much. He just set up a picnic for the two. Jaebum knew it would've been so much better if he had done it himself, but he was too nervous to even think about anything besides how he would look and when he should leave. But Jackson? Jackson thought it was the nicest thing he has ever seen. He never had anyone put actual effort into a date for him. Everyone he has ever gone out with made him feel like crap. Everyone had taken him to some movie and then out to a fast food place on the way back. So to Jackson, this little picnic was the most wonderful date idea there ever was.

"Ah, I'm sorry. I thought Yugyeom would actually attempt to make it look nice and not just throw everything down more or less." Jaebum said scratching the back of his neck as he seen how his friend set it up. It wasn't how he had asked him to and looked like a mess in his eyes.

"Are you kidding? It's fine. Actually more than fine, it's adorable. I love it. I never had anyone put effort into a date for me." Jackson replied with a small smile as he let go of Jaebum's hand to sit down on the blanket that was set down. "Come and sit. I don't bite, unless you're into that. Oh god, why did I just say that? I'm so sorry Jae. Fuck it just slipped out I'm-"

"Jackson. Calm down." Jaebum interrupted the shorter's rant as he sat down. "There's no need to apologize. It's totally fine. You're nervous, huh? I am too." Jaebum flashed him a smile as he opened the picnic basket. The moment he looked inside, he frowned. All he seen was a package of juice boxes and two peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. "So Yugyeom completely ignored what I told him to do. So I hope you're okay with juice and pb's and j's? I'm sorry again"

"Are you kidding? Don't apologize at all. It's better than some fancy meal. I love stuff like that. It makes me feel calm and reminds me of my childhood, you know?" And in that moment, Jaebum had never been happier that Yugyeom ignored him. The two sat eating and laughing, having the time of their lives until the sun began to set.

The two were laying on their backs staring up at the trees that loomed over them. Hands intertwined as Jackson laughed at some joke Jaebum tried telling, when they realized how late it was getting. "Come on, the date isn't over. I have a place I want to take you." Jaebum said standing up and holding a hand out for Jackson.
