"GRACE ROSE TAYLOR !!!" i heard my mom scream. I rolled over and unplugged my phone. It was a Saturday morning and not even 11:00 am yet. "You're gonna sleep away your life you know?" My mom started. "I was out late last night mom i would like to sleep" I replied. "Whatever when i was your age and on summer break i was everywhere but my house." she began again. "Yeah mom i get it but you're not me and i am not you. Times have changed mom. Shut my door on your way out." I sighed and closed my eyes as she left. I hated to be rude to her but all she does is talk about when she was my age like not to be mean or anything mom but you're not my age anymore so stop acting like it.

"Madi you ready to get settled in at the new house?" My mom asked. I sighed. No i wasn't ready to move away from Atlanta but my mom wanted to move to L.A. and nothing stands a chance in her way when she wants something. "You're just gonna love the house it is so big and you can bury yourself away in a huge bedroom instead of this one here. You're a pretty girl you'll make friends easily out there just be yourself and they will love you." She kissed my head. I grabbed my phone and sat in the passengers seat of my moms new car. My car and her others had been driven a few weeks back along with the remaining of our stuff. I closed my eyes it was a long drive and i wasn't ready.

I woke back up a few hours later and decided to get ready for the night. Tonight was a big night , My bestfriend Jake Coleman was turning 19 and throwing a huge party. We have lived next door to each other for 17 years that's my whole life. He used to drive me to school of course he's graduated now. There was a time when i had him in a way no one did until Avery came along. Avery is his ex girlfriend. When me and Jake got together we were in 5th and 6th grade when i got pregnant i was a junior. My son is almost 2 and Jake is a really good father even though we broke up a year ago he is still my bestfriend. I picked out an outfit and hoped in the shower. "Mommy?" I hear my son Rhyse (reese) say. "Hi baby i'm in the shower." I yelled. I hear his footsteps fade and new ones approach. "Hey do you think you could be my date tonight G? It's my 19th birthday party and i don't even have a date to my own party." Jake said. "Yeah uh sure J will you hand me my towels?" I ask. a few seconds later I feel two towels touch my hand and the door shuts. I get out the shower and wrap the one towel around my body and the other around my hair. I dry off and open the door. I put on a pair of high waisted jean shorts and a white crop top. I walk downstairs to see Jake and Rhyse playing together. I smile at the thought of my boys. "Mommy!!" Rhyse yells and runs to me. I pick him up and spin him around. "I missed you baby boy." I smiled at him. "I missed you too mamma.". Jake had Rhyse for 2 weeks while I was in Miami for senior trip. I had a lot of fun but I really missed my baby even though we facetimed every night.

"Madds we're here." my mom says. "Wow I slept the whole ride?" I asked. She nodded. She wasn't wrong about the house it was huge. I had been promised the biggest room in the house and by the looks of it i'm gonna have a lot of space which is good. I'm about to be 18 but I have a 1 year old daughter Ashlynn. Her dad died in a bike crash. He was the love of my life. I unbuckle Ashlynn and carry her inside. "You're room is in the downstairs half the whole floor is you and Ash's 3 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms with walk in closets. I had the rooms set up so just go lay her in her bed. There is a party tonight at this boy Jake Coleman's you're gonna go and have some fun and i'll lay down there with her and watch her." My mom finishes I do as I am told and get ready for the party. I threw on a pair of jeans and a shirt with my white adidas. "Bye mom I love you." I kissed her cheek and grabbed the keys to my black audi. My mom gps'd me the address and I was kinda early so I just parked out front. "Rhyse I said no." I hear someone say. "But daddy." He starts to cry. "You're such an ass Jake." A girl walks out and picks up the little boy. He Kisses her cheek and his sons forehead and walks a crossed the street. "Are you here for the party?" The girl asks. "Yeah I just moved here." I said. "I'm Grace , This is Jake , and this is our son Rhyse." She says "you. can come in if you'd like.". I nod "I have a daughter she's one.". "Really ? Maybe Rhyse and her cam have a play date?" She suggests. I nod and walk in.
