Riverdale High

* Alarm goes off *
I jump up scared out of my mind , I walk over to the desk and turn off the alarm ,
" Rise and Shine first day of school let's go don't wanna be late !" My mom practically yells pocking half of her body in my door way then makes her way down stairs . I rub my eyes then stretch my arms out , I get up and walk to the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face , after that I walked back into my room quickly , I already know I'm just gonna throw on my beanie but I brush my hair anyways , After I throw on white kinda crop topped shirt , I put on a pair of black skinny jeans , and I grabbed my leather jacket my brother gave me to remember him . I liked to wear it whenever I went somewhere far just to have him kinda with me to make me feel a little happy . Lastly I topped it all of with sliding my Grey beanie on and walked down stairs .

" Excited ?! " my mom said taking some money out of her purse ,
" No not really "
I hated this I didn't even want to go , I had a little plan to just go and then just dip a couple minutes in but it would crush my moms heart since she wants me to be happy and educated, At least do better then how our life was with my brother and dad .

My no longer father did drugs and drank like crazy and was basically married to the bar down the street from our old house.
And my brother , my dear brother Jughead , yes that's his real name ,both my parents were stoned that night of the naming and birth of my older brother can't imagine what they did when they named me . But anyways my brother god dragged into my fathers bad doing and got into the art of stealing and drinking .... It was bad to see him hurting and having to live with such a alcoholic such as my " father " .

" I want you to be good okay do what the teacher says and don't be mean to other kids okay "
I nod and grab my bag ,
" oh here's some money for lunch we still have to go grocery shopping "
She holds out the money ,
" mom no keep it for the food and other things we need I'll just bring ....."
I look around the kitchen that was still pretty empty but managed to see a a bag of Doritos and grabbed them ,
" I'll just have some chips mom I'll be fine "
" honey no take the money "
She still holds it out but I don't take it cause if I did it would be bad on my part of helping out ,
" I'm not taking the money so don't tire your arm out "
I smiles and start to walk toward the front door ,
" I love you so much MJ "
" I love you too mom "
I open the door and walk out , I stepped on to the porch and turned for some dumb reason and saw the Dumbest twins ,
" Hey Margo ! "
Grayson yells and smiles , he waves I just look back forward and go down my porch steps onto the side walk and start to walk to school ,
" Margo slow down , Damn you walk fast "
Ethan and Grayson say catching up to me , I stop walking and turn around to them ,
" He-"
He starts to say before I cut him off ,
" Leave me the hell alone "
" Okay you probably hate us for yesterday but we have a good explanation for that "
" Save it ! "
" Margo please "
" Byeee "
I say turning back around and starting to walk again before Grayson lightly grabs my wrist and turns me to face him ,
" We got in trouble with our sister and we had to say sorry to her that's why we came out late "
He says looking into my eyes , All I was thinking of was They have a sister? Something in me was saying to believe them and call bullshit but the other half was saying they seems so sorry maybe they did get in trouble and you should forgive them and that's the thought I went with ,
" You guys got bullied by your sister "
I slightly laugh and turn back around and start to walk , I hear them laughing behind me then I see them walking next to me ,
" Riverdale high right ?"
Ethan asks me as we continue to walk ,
" obviously she goes there it's the only high school in our area you idiot "
Grayson quickly replies with , I smiles at Ethan and start to laugh ,
" yeh riverdale high "
I say mocking him of his dumb question as we walk down a street,
" your really gonna like it there at least we think you will "
" yeh "
I felt safe walking into school with knowing at least two people and not being completely alone , I nod slowly to what there saying as we get closer to the school .
" nice outfit "
Grayson says to me , I smile which is odd cause I never really smiles but these boys really bring out the worst in me ,
" T-thanks yours is ....well...Its something "
I say as Grayson looks at me and smiles , Ethan laughs ,
" what you laughing at ?!"
Grayson says to Ethan ,
" She said you outfit was Uhhh something "
Ethan says laughing , I just smile as I see the school come into sight we walk down a street and we stepped into the official side walk of riverdale high ,
" if you need anything or if you just need someone I'll be there and so will Ethan "
I smiles and nod as we walked up the stairs of the front . Already girls are looking at me and whispering great just what I need to start off some girls already start to come up with reasons to hate me on ,
" we Gotta blast , hopefully we will have you in one of our classes "
Ethan says slowly walking backwards away ,
" okay yeh ... Uhh see ya guys "
They smile and walk off to their group of boys , I walk to the front office and get my locker combination and class list . I walk to my locker , I put in the combination and put some of the stuff I won't need and I tape a picture of my brother to the inside part of the locker door , right as I close my locker door ,
" Hi welcome to Riverdale high , I'm Darcy!"
I jump a little startled , this girl had like 6 other girls with her she looked like the girl that all the boys love and all the girl hate , I know this cause they we all wearing cheerleader outfits ,
" aren't you gonna say hi or hey and your name that's kinda how conversations start "
She says all sassy and rude , I try to say hey and my name but I just start to stutter ,
" An-An-Anytime now "
She says mocking me as her whole little groups laughs

Grayson's POV

I walk over to my friends with Ethan , I was very hesitant on leaving Margo's side knowing there are some sharks such as Darcy out there that can go after her ,
" Hey gray and Eth !"
Aaron says holding his hand out leaning kinda in , I grab his hand and give him a manly hug ,
" How's it been "
Archie says while hugging Grayson ,
" Great actually "
I say obviously knowing Margo the prettiest girl moved next door ,
" A pretty girl moved next to us "
Ethan spills and smiles ,
" Oh nice ! Does she go here ?!"
Jack asks and smirks ,
" yeh she does ...?"
I didn't want them to meet her cause heaven knows they will be trying to steal her from me ,
" can't wait to see and meet her "
Archie says and smiles , I liked Archie he was chill but Aaron and Jack they would not be so easy to tell that she's mine ,
      " but guys she's Grayson's lady so "
I nudge Ethan kinda hard in the arm as he coughs ,
      " Oh I see so I can't ask her out ?"
Jack says obviously trying to threaten me , I roll my eyes and and look over to where Margo is and see Darcy and her squad circling her ,
    " Shit , Ethan let's roll "
Ethan nods and me as we speed walk over there . 

Margo's POV

" I'm M-Margo ...."
I say really shy and at this point really embarrassed,
  " Well Margo It was nice getting your name "
She rolls her eyes and smiles back at me ,
   " I would honestly love it if you would try out for cheerleading we need a pretty girl like you to join "
    She says really nicely , She turns and whispers to one of the girls in her group and then turns back to me ,
    " You should sit with us at lunch we would really enjoy your ....well....company "
She says obviously fake smiling , I nod slowly and hold onto my bag strap ,
     " Well think about cheer okay "
She hands a me a flyer for try outs ,
     " let's go girl "
With just a snap of her hands she starts to walk and the girls follow just like dogs , I see Ethan and Grayson walking towards me so I though I would meet them half way ,
     " Hey umm you okay "
Grayson says really worried,
     " yeh I'm fine gray "
I smile and look at him in the eyes , he smiles back and nods ,
    " So what did Darcy say to uhh you "
    " she just asked me for my name ... And uhh she said I should sign up for cheerleading "
I say kinda nervously and I don't really know why , probably the fact that I hate cheerleaders and cheerleading ,
     " Oh cool do you wanna join cheer ?"
Ethan asks me ,
     " it's not really my thing "
I look down at my shoes ,
     " I bet you would be great "
Grayson says lightly pushing my head up from under my chin with two fingers , I laugh nervously,
      " Uhhh "
I still nervously laugh,
      " Gotta get to Uhhh class "
I say walking slowly backwards,
      " I'll see you lunch ....Umm byee "
I say smiling and turning away , speed walking to my first class .
     " Take your seat guys cause today we have a new student in our class "
The teacher says looking right at me as I sat and slumped in my chair , I sat in the back for a reason so she would not see me but looks like she spotted me ,
     " please tell us your name , where your from , and about your family "
The teacher says smiling with her hands together waiting for my answer , I stand up as all the people in the room turn to look at me ,
" when ever your ready "
She smiles and gently nods her head ,
" M-My name is Margo Jones and Uhhh umm I'm from Chicago "
" what part of Chicago ?"
I really was hoping she would not ask but there was only one question I truly didn't want her to ask ,
" The south side "
My teacher slowly nods and turn to face the board,
" Okay class toda-"
" she never answered about her family "
Some girl says , I wanted to slap her or punch her so hard ,
" oh right Margo tell us a bit "
" umm I rather not ...."
" we don't judge in this class "
" I really don't want to "
" we all have our ups and downs "
This one girl says twisting her hair , I had enough of this class and this school so if they wanted the truth they would get it ,
" When I lived in Chicago I lived with my dad and brother but my dads a major alcoholic and druggy and my brother is a thief and a drinkers so me and my mom pack our things cause we didn't want known of that shit and we moved her to Riverdale, oh and did I mention my brothers god damn name is Jughead "
I was so angry I wanted to scream so loud , but instead I walked through the row of seats out the class door , I hated this school already and it's only been a couple minutes I go where any nerd or out cast goes to hide ( the bathroom).
