I was completely silent, he didn't notice me. A cloud of smoke goes op over his head, then gets blown away from the wind. He breaths in for a second and look to the side, but down a little bit. He definitely noticed me. "I was hoping for a little alone time. Guess not." He says.
"You went through my room to get here." I say, no emotion in my voice. He turns around fully, and crosses his arms. He's tall, about 6'6. He's muscular, you could tell that very easily. We look each other up and down. I reach up my hand for a proper introduction. He places one hand behind his back, bowing his head and kissing my hand in the process. "My lady." He says, standing back up straight.
He has dull, green eyes. His hair is brown, and slickly gelled into a perfect style. Whoever his mate is, she or he is lucky as fuck. I'm attracted to him and I barely know anything about him. Aidan has a clean scruffy beard. He wore a black tux with his blazer draped over the railing. "My name is Aidan Jones."
"Well, I'm going back inside now." I say, without introducing myself and turning to walk away. "Wait... Since you're already here, would you like to go back to the ballroom and dance?" He says when I turn around. I grin a little bit. "Sure." I say. He takes my hand and kisses it once more, and grabs his coat.
"Let's go." He says to me, and we start walking to the ballroom with hooked arms. We walk past Olivia in the hallway. Olivia was holding hands with a random lady who I didn't know. She gives me look and then glances at Aidan, as if to say something that I couldn't comprehend.
Me and Aidan continue walking until we reach the ballroom. He puts his coat on a coathanger, and we walk in. Nobody notices, and we walk to around the middle. "May I have this dance?" He says, a classical song playing. A classical song means a routine dance for two. Somehow, Aidan knew every single step, as did I. "Of course." I laugh softly.
"I never got your name." Aidan whispers softly after about a minute. "London.." I mumble into his ear. I felt him shiver a little bit the moment I said his name. "And yours?" I ask him, grinning slightly. I had to act as if I didn't know his name. He'd think I was a stalker.
"Aidan Jones." He whispers to me. I nod slowly. The song soon ends. Anyone who heard his voice would fall to their knees, and my knees felt weak just listening to him talk. "It's lovely to meet you." I say.
"Same with you. Would you like anything to drink, My lady?" He smiles. He had a really nice smile. "Yes, please. Some water though, not much of a wine drinker." I say.
He nods and walks through the crowd to the bar. I wait about thirty seconds before Olivia pops up in front of me. "London, I didn't know you were gonna talk to Aidan!" She says in a hushed voice.
I furrow my eyebrows. "What's so bad about him?" I say curiously. "He's bad news, London. Stay away from him." Olivia says. She glances arund for a second and disappears. Right after Olivia leaves, Aidan pops up behind me. I turn around, keeping my gaze on where Olivia left. "Something wrong?" Aidan asks me.
I turn to him, a fake smile plastered of my face. "No, nothings wrong." I say. He hands me my water, with an eyebrow raised. "My lady," He smirks. "Thank you." I smile.
"No problem." He says, we stand around for a few minutes awkwardly before striking up a conversation. We clicked just like me and Olivia had. I learned the basics about him; his favorite color, animal, his childhood, etc.
Except, something was wrong. The hairs on the back of my neck stood up whenever he spoke, and I could feel myself get anxious so I played with the hem of my lace gloves. After a while, he noticed I was uncomfortable. "Something wrong?" He asks me, eyeing my hands fidgeting with the thin fabric.
"Oh, nothing." I try to assure him. He obviously wasn't convinced. I look around the ballroom, noticing people are leaving. "Actually, I loved spending time with you, but I think it's best if I go to my room and rest. I'll see you... eventually." I smile up at him, trying to make him leave.
I don't know what prompted me to be so rude and practically kick him out, but something is wrong with that boy. He kisses my hand as a goodbye, and leaves quickly. I watch him until people start to say goodbye to me. I rush up to my room when the goodbyes are done to shower and think.
—————
I was in my PJ'S now. After the ball last night, I spent a few hours reminiscing on why I felt so weird around him. My PJ'S were comfortable shorts and a crop top set with my hair in a messy bun.
I take off my makeup, sighing. "God, sometimes I wish I wasn't royal." I say to myself. It's hard constantly being watched and monitored so you're kept 'safe'.
I hear a noise outside of my balcony door, so I crane my neck to look what's outside. What I see terrifies me. Red eyes, completely black wolf, and mouth dropping with blood. It was larger than a regular werewolf, maybe an alpha. It never dod anything but it obviously had just fed.
I jolt up, screaming. I look at my balcony door. Just a nightmare. "What the fuck." I say to myself, pushing the white covers off of my bed. I get up and close my curtains quickly, deciding to go down to the kitchen for a drink. I rub my forehead, walking onto the cold kitchen floor.
I sigh and bend down, going into the fridge. I take out a water bottle and open it, turning around. I take a long-needed sip, and look in front of me. I jump, spitting my water out in front of me, which makes a quiet splat on the floor. "What the hell are you doing here!?" I say in a whisper-yell voice.
"It's 2AM. Shut your mouth." Aidan says. He wasn't wearing his tux, but a rather tight Hoodie and casual jeans. I could sense danger coming from him. I suddenly got a very bad headache. I could feel her trying to get out. "What are you doing here?" I repeat.
"This." He smirks, Speeding over to me and snapping my neck. This wouldn't kill me, just knock me out. I wake up with a loud groan. I Crack my neck, and rub it. What just happened?
"You dumbass." I hear V say. I just ignore her and think a little bit.
I look at my surroundings. I was chained to a bedpost with one hand, but it was a special type of cuff. I was in a pretty comfortable bed. The room itself was a normal room. It had a maroon fuzzy carpet, and grey bedsheets.
There was a flat screen TV as well as a small couch. There was three doors, and I could only imagine which ones led somewhere. One was probably the bathroom, then a closet, and one that leads to a hallway or something.
I stare at my surroundings, looking for some type of key. Wait; I had a Bobby pin in my hair. I smirk and take my free hand, running it through my messy hair until I find the bobby pin. I ran my fingers through my hair about 20 times. What happened to it!?
I look at the bedpost and press my lips in a thin line, frustrated. If I rip the bedpost off, I'd probably get into more trouble than I would be if I talked back to Aidan..
Aidan!
This little bitch is gonna pay when I see him. I close my eyes and breath in, trying to calm myself down. When I open them, I see Aidan. His eyes were boring into mine.
"I hate you so much. Your sister was right, I should've stayed away from you. Not only that, when my dad finds out what you've done, you're dead!" I say to him. He looks hurt for a few seconds and then covers it up. Aidan walks over and sits next to me in the bed. "Were you looking for this?" Aidan smirks.
He was holding my Bobby pin. I sigh and roll my eyes. "Why you kidnap me?" I mumble, Laying back on the bed but as far away as possible as I could from him.
"You'll see." He says.
"You're such a moron, Aidan. Are you kidding me?" I say angrily to him. I look away from him, keeping my distance. "My dad is going to rip you to shreds. Stupid werewolf." I huff angrily and pull on the chains that wouldn't budge.
"Trust me, My lady. You're not going anywhere." He says. "Although this isn't something I wanted to do, you'll know why soon enough. Don't worry." He sighs softly.
