A/N: I'm going to copy weightlygained's beginning because I couldn't come up with any other ideas.
I pulled myself out of the freezing cold water, checking my watch that not only told me the time, but displayed my heart rate, blood pressure, and weight. I hated swimming and pretty much every sport, but when you live with someone who doesn't allow any laziness or junk food, you have to do every sport. It was 7 am, time for my mom to pick me up to go to school.
I texted my mom and dried myself off, changing into my school uniform, a white button-down blouse, a navy blue mini-skirt, red stockings, and black shoes.
Walking outside, my mom still hadn't texted me back, so I waited for 10 minutes until my mom's car finally pulled up. My mom just hung up the phone and I climbed into the car.
"So Samantha, I just got off the phone with my agent. I was hired by a famous celebrity to be her personal trainer," my mom said.
"That's great, Mom!" I exclaimed.
"However, you cannot come along," she continued. "Therefore, you will," -she sighed,- "be staying with your dad for a year."
I paused. My dad. My mom never talked about him, so I knew nothing.
"When am I going?" I asked.
"Right now," my mom replied, starting to drive to the town of Gainsville where my dad lived. It was then that I looked in the back, where my luggage was.
Oh boy. This was going to be a long year.
