"'Your smile, it's simply breathtaking-', No no no! I think I used that last week..."
Edd crumpled up the piece of paper, tossing towards the recycling bin.
It landed nowhere near it.
He reached into his drawer and pulled out another piece of the lined parchment. Once again he attempted to write something that wouldn't make someone want to collapse in a fit of laughter on the floor upon reading. This was tougher than he thought, and like any other writer out there living in the real world, Edd was running out of ideas.
"'Your face-'" Nope, Edd had to stop himself right there. Anything that started with a phrase like that was bound to be found in someone's comedy act.
Thus another paper was soullessly wasted in an attempted act of romance.
Why was this so difficult?
