Chapter 5 Dinner

Gwen's pOv

I ran gracefully to my piano in our gigantic living room.

I loved our living room it had a 88' inch T.V. I loved watching rom-coms on and that black laz boy sofa and that ancient rug me Tavin, Kayden and Jasper always used to play cars on.

As soon as I got comfy on my piano seat I started playing Eyes Open by Taylor Swift

Everybodys waiting , Everybody's watching, even when your sleeping keep your eyes open!!!

The tricky thing Is yesterday we were just children playing soldiers just pretending dreaming dreams with happy endings in backyards winning battles with our wooden swords but now we've stepped into a cruel world where everybody keeps score

Everybody wait- I got cut of

Gwen Kristen Alex in the kitchen now!

My dad yelled greedily.

I carefully got out of my seat and paced to the kitchen. What does he want this time? I questioned myself What did I do? I started thinking about what I did last night.Then it came to me I was at Jasper's house so? uhh sometimes my dad was so protective.

What is it my dear father? I asked in my most royal tone. He did not like my sassy tone or my slang language.

Where were you last night my dearest? he questioned in a fatherly tone as he grabed his newspaper and his briefcase.

I was at Jasper's until midnight playing call of duty I answered scared.

Ohh just wondering he said walking away going to the door and getting into his Mercedes.

Bye dad! I yelled as I went to my recording room feeling like singing.

Ok you guys! practice is over for today! I said while directing them to the door.

After our byes I went outside to the waterpark we had in our backyard and decided to call Tavin over since he was coming over dinner but I was lonely.

After 2 rings he picked up and greeted Hey Gwen! I have caller ID now!

Oh that's nice I do too! I bragged jokingly.

So what's up? he asked.

Oh I was thinking maybe you could come over earlier? I asked hopeful pacing around the pool as I heared a chuckle.

Gwenny! Tavin was already here! I thought.He gave me a tight hug and jumped to the pool begging me to come with him.

Ok..ok I said and dove into the pool.

1 hour later ...

Ms.Alex and Tavin it's dinner time! our personal chef yelled happily after setting up the table.

We got up and grabbed our towels, changed and walked peacefully to the dining room.

I looked to see what we had for dinner it was lasagna, steak, corn and fried rice what a big meal! I thought but we always had big meals leftovers would either be saved or given to the chef.

I got to my seat and Tavin sat beside me we said our prayers and ate.

After dinner we went to the media room and watched need for speed.

Tavin would always be like Go..go...go or I bet that red cars gonna win!!

After the movie he got in his car gave me hug and raced away!!!
