Six; Anger Management

"Why did no one tell me that Thunder high was so big?" Ice asks in her sweet shaky voice as we touched down in Thunder highs chariot lot. I found her voice delicious, the very sound of it addictive. I never knew that a mere sound coming from two parted lips could render me to complete mush inside. It was quite pathetic. In an attempt to distract myself from her wonderful voice I glanced in the direction that her divine eyes rested on. I could understand why she was so nervous. Thunder high was quite the imposing and intimidating figure. The school was built on traditional Greek pillars carved from the finest marble it's engraved drawings coloured in gold. The Thunder high banner hug from the front of the school, a gigantic white thunder bolt on blue velvet. The school stretched in all directions as far as the eye could see. It was something quite legendary.

"Because we didn't want to scare you," Zeus tells her the honest truth as he jumps down form the chariot with ease. Today we had ridden my favourite chariot, the one that I had secretly named jet. It was sleek and it was black, its reins were gold and it was drawn by four handsome black Pegasus's. Truly it was a vision to see.

"Well then," Ice says, biting her lip anxiously,"Your failing miserably." She always unconsciously draws my gaze, as well as the gaze of Zeus to her lips. But when she looks at me I quickly glance away, not trusting myself to meet her gaze without blushing as red as Aphrodite's roses.

I shake my head, making my black curls bounce and jump down from jet as well. I hold out a hand to Ice and Zeus does so as well at the same time. We both plaster our most charming smiles on our faces and hope that she picks us. Her gaze flickers between the both of us and she can't seem to decide who to pick. She then climbs down by herself and stands in between the both of us. Zeus glares at me over her shoulder and I glare hotly back. If he hadn't offered she would have taken my hand. I would have been able to enjoy the sparks that always splayed themselves over my skin when our bare skins touched. Once we were alone I would put him in his place. I would let him know that Ice was mine.

"Oh come on," Ice looks between the both of us,"stop acting childish."

I don't break away from Zeus' gaze.

"One of you man up and stop this," she demands growing irritated. The only reason that I look away is because Ice wanted me to. I look into her beautiful face," I'm sorry snowflake."

Her face softens,"It's alright Poseidon." She looks over at Zeus,"isn't there some thing you have to say."

"Yes there is. If you ever want a real man, I'll be inside," with one last glance at Ice and me he stalks off, disappearing through the front doors of Thunder high.

Ice is stunned into silence while this doesn't really surprise me. Zeus is be most stubborn person I know. There's no way he'll ever back down of admit defeat. That'll happen when Tartarus freezes over.

"What's his problem?" Ice asks looking a little hurt.

"A lot of things but this time it's me."

We begin walking through the chariot lot, attracting the gazes of many onlookers.

"What's his problem with you?"

"Again of lot of things but this time it's about you."

"What about me?"

I stop walking to stare into her distracting eyes for a moment,"What is this, twenty-one questions?"

Ice looks down, studying the gravel beneath our feet," I was just asking."

I feel my insides begin to melt again," I'm sorry Ice," she avoids my gaze. I hold her chin, forcing her to look at me," I really am sorry snowflake. I just...don't want to talk about it."
